Story Story...
In the land of "Zumba" lived a very wealthy king called "Utaka". King Utaka had many wives and children, He ruled his people with so much wickedness. He got away with any evil he did.
In that village lived an orphan whose name was "udara". Udara loved farming so he was a farmer. That was his only means of survival.
King Utaka had 3 magicians who helped him with his magical powers and protection from other evil men in the village. But guess what? He didn't pay his magicians as much as he is suppose to pay them because he was not just wicked but stingy.
One day, king Utaka made a decree that no one should cultivate the plots of lands beside their major village River. Udara hearing the news broke down in tears because his plot of land was one of the many lands located beside the village River. He knew the king was serious with what he has said. The plot of land was the only means of udara's survival.
King Utaka was greatly feared by his people, so the farmers who owned the land he placed a ban on stayed away from their plots of land. Poverty and suffering increased among many villagers.
The king has a warehouse where he stocks his gold and silver coins. Every morning, he visits the warehouse to take stock of his riches. On his way to his warehouse every day, he must collect some properties or livestock from poor people.
One morning as the king arrived his warehouse to take stock of his riches, he suddenly realized that one of his most price less gold coin was missing. He was so upset and surprised. He immediately ordered all the citizens of ozumba to assemble at his palace. He questioned them about his missing coin but no one gave him an answer.
He ordered his 3 magicians to tell him who stole his coin, but they were unable to tell him. He said he was going to start killing one person each from each family if his coin was not found.
The people of ozumba was greatly afraid, they feared that what the king said would happen. On the other hand, Utaka was not afraid, he knew this was an opportunity for him to shine. He went to his ground father's house to fetch some native cowries which his ground father's used to communicate to their gods.
Utaka went straight to the king's palace. When he got to the palace, he demanded to see the king. He asked the king what will be done to the person that founds the golden coin? The stingy wicked king at this point was already fed up. Weeks has passed and his pride has brought him nothing or helped him found the coin. So he was polite enough to respond to the question asked. Also at this point, the news of Utaka at the king's palace has already spread to the people of uzumba, so they were already at the palace.
The king replied to Utaka by saying any one who found my missing coin will be rewarded with one of my daughter as a wife, some plots of lands, and some silver coin. Utaka will joy in his heart responded to the king, he said "**king if I find your coin, I want you to return back the lands you took from the farmers back to them, the taxes we paid we no longer be paid. And guess what? The king agreed. The king knew this coin he lost worth so much to him and he didn't want to lose it forever so he agreed.
Utaka made some incantations with the cowries he came with 7times. After he was done he instructed the king on where to search for the coin and it was found just as he said it. The king rejoiced greatly, rewarded Utaka and stop been wicked to his people...

Wahoo what a nice story. Utaka is a very wise man to have come out with such idea to get back what belong to people. Not being greedy. If he was to be the King, he would have be a good ruling king. Best luck.

Yea, I wonder who gave him such an idea. He was indeed a brave man.
