Greetings my respectable friends in this amazing community. I hope we are all wonderfully well and having a great day filled with nice tidings in all ramifications of life.

INTRODUCTION

Football is a team (mostly of 11 players per team) sport that comprises of kicking a round leather ball with the solo aim to score a goal. The question of "why is football my favourite sport is more like asking me why I love food. It is no flush that the game of football brings together the world population at large under one canopy. Football is known as the "King of Sports" because of its breathtaking nature. Every moment, every game. On personal grounds, I can write more than enough reasons why this sport is my favourite game. Don't get me wrong, I am not biased against other sports, cause I also love Basketball and am addicted to Swimming but football displaces them all.

Have you ever encountered the feeling of grief when your favourite team doesn't get to win and celebrating all week long when they win? These incredible emotions grow even stronger as I can think of how Arsenal the team I supports has made me cry more than an Onion has ever done.

Emotions such as this become the bedrock of passion. That excitement of standing in the stadium near the pitch side or at home watching from the TV set and yelling goal! not putting into consideration the time of the day brings you fascinating feelings. Sometimes staying up late in the middle of the night due to time disparity just to see every single action of the players. This alone demonstrates the ardour in the eyes of football lovers.

Football like most brings to us the biggest of rivalries, which is one of the prime motives why I love football. Such games produce great sensational arguments and enthusiasm as we try to seek out exceptional teams. In most cases, we are not always right. Be it Argentina against Nigeria or Real Madrid against Fulham, we never expect the teams we support to lose.

I can say for all football fans that we love to see outstanding athletes like Messi, Ronaldo, Henry, Okocha etc perform stunts and techniques. They facilitate our brain cells to reckon how they accomplished it. Thus, even if you don’t have a special team to call your favourite, you will like to watch players play and execute mastery to broaden you.

THE WORLD CUP

The world cup is a very special competition that brings all nations worldwide together every four years to select the best of the best. This is a tournament that catches the compassion of the entire world. World Cup is a special reminder that signifies the eventual champions as the best football nation in the world. Believe me, it arrives with so much Joy and Excitement.

THE COMMENTARY

This is the caramel topping in football. Announcers such as Jim Berglin, Peter Jury and Martin Tyler can take you to a different world entirely.

The voices of the aforementioned guys are symbolizes the game of football. This is the sole reason why Peter and Jim are used in the world-famous Fifa and PES Football video games. Great moments from these commentators are captured forever and forever, such as Tyler's voice known across the earth, for his call of Sergio Aguero's EPL title goal against Queen Park Rangers in the 2011-12 season late in the end seconds of the match.
