How many people have you made connection with because of Steemit? Any special relationship? |

When I first joined this platform, all I wanted was to share my thoughts through publications and get some incentives for doing so, but I ended up finding a loving and wonderful community I never knew before.
Being part of Steemit has opened my eyes to so many different cultures and ways of thinking as I get to interact with so many people with which I've made connections within and outside of my region. Therefore, I feel lucky to have made so many friends in places I would have never of.

I’ve been thinking about my connections on Steemit, and it’s kind of wild how I’ve never actually met any of these amazing people in person. Even though we’re all from different parts of the world, we’ve built these friendships purely on this platform online that feel so real.
What’s even cooler is that even though we've not met in person, some of us have taken it a step further sharing ideas, communicating and building a family on WhatsApp. We share ideas, discuss our projects, and just catch up on life. It’s like having friends from all over the globe, and even though we haven’t met face-to-face, it feels like we know each other pretty well.

I’ve been on this platform for over 3 years now, and I can say Steemit is like one big global family, with amazing people from all over the world coming together. Although we’re all in different countries, we share similar interests and passions, which makes it feel like we’re connected especially.

When I post something or comment on someone else’s work, I do so with the feeling that I’m talking to my friend(s). We cheer each other on, give advice, and share our experiences. It’s like we’re all looking out for one another, even if we’ve never met in life.
I really love this sense of belonging. It’s comforting to know that there’s a community out there that supports each other with votes, comments or advice, no matter where we are. Therefore, I truly believe that Steemit isn’t just a platform; it’s a family that spans the globe, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.

I feel so blessed to have made so many wonderful friends on this platform the likes of @Ruthjoe and @Starrchris. This two has helped me grow through every phase on this platform even though I’ve never met them in person, I feel like I know them well through chatting with them. Therefore, it would be amazing to finally meet them face-to-face someday. I can only imagine how much fun it would be to hang out and share stories.

These are not the only ones I want to meet, as there are so many other Steemians I’ve connected with who I’d love to see in real life. It’s funny how we can feel so close to people we’ve never met, but I believe that when we finally do meet, it’ll feel like we’re just picking up where we left off. I can’t wait for that day to come.
