Hello everyone!! The week 2 of this season of Steemit Engagement Challenge has started with new contests and I am back again with my new post. I am doing my post first time in this community which is about why we prefer our country over any other country. So, without wasting time, let's start.

Open a brief introduction that tells us about your Country.

The name of my country is India. The total number of states in which india is divided is 28. My country India is full with beautiful landscapes and its beautiful people. The country is very diverse and 'Unity is Diversity' is our main slogan.

There is diversity in many things in India like diversity in Clothes, Diversity in Food, diversity in languages. There are different types of dresses people wear in different states. Many different languages are spoken in different states like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam, Kannada.

India is a democratic and Republic country. Here, the country is run by its citizens. People choose their leader by votes and they have independence for everything. My country is a religious country. There are many types of religions in our country like Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Buddhism etc.

Many religious places are there in India like Jagannath Temple, Konark Temple etc. and many monuments are there like Taj Mahal, Red fort etc. The Taj Mahal is very famous monument of my country is it is one of the Seven wonders of the world.

Question 2:

What are the great things that interest you about your country?

There are many different things which i like the most in my country India. These are given below:

1. Traditional Food:
The main thing I like about my country is its traditional and delicious food. There are a lots of dishes in india like Paw Bhaji, dosa, Samosa, Kachori, Jalebi etc. In every state, we can find a new dish which is speciality of that state. Recently, I visited a restaurant where I ate Paw bhaji.

2. Beautiful Places:
There are a lot of different places in India where people visit from India and also from outside of India. Many temples are there which has there own mysteries. Recently I visited to Kaashi, Banaras and took picture of the Ganga Maha Aarti which is really very beautiful.

3. Festivals:
India has different religions and that's why, there are many different festivals celebrated across the country. There is hardly any day passes which does not have any festival.

Some of the most loving festivals celebrated in Country are Holi, Diwali, Eid, Dussehra, Ganesh Chaturthi etc. I like the Ganesh Chaturthi and Diwali very much. I also bring Sculpture of Lord Ganesh in my home every year.

Question 3:

Which of the things mentioned above do you prefer your country for, over other countries?

From the above mentioned things, I like to prefer the Traditional Food of my country over other countries. Since, the Indian food is very delicious, I do not like any other food items of other countries which are available in India.

The Indian food is not much available in many other countries which I cannot bear. There are q lot of variety of foods in different places of India. That's why I prefer indian food.

The next thing which I prefer in my country over any other country is the different religious places which are spread throughout the country. Many different temples, mosques, Gurudwaras and churches are there which looks very beautiful.

Many of the temples have some unique mysterious things which makes them more interesting. Icannot find these religious places in any other country.

Other than these things, i also like the clothing and festivals system of my country which I cannot get to be experienced in any other country.

Question 4:

No Place like home: If you eventually leave your country in search of greener pastures, would you be willing to come back because of your response in (3).

I love my country very much. We all love our country as like we love our home. So, it is obvious for me to have many reasons to come back to my country if I eventually leave it for some reasons.

The things mentioned above are the main reasons why i love my country and I would come back. There is festival in almost each and every day of my country which is the best thing. I miss that for sure if I leave my country.

Indian food is my love. I always prefer Indian food rather than any other food items which are taken from outside of india. I love the Dosa and samosa of My country. These food items I would definitely miss and because of this reason, I will come back to India.

Also, there are many fields and gardens where crops grow. These are very beautiful and the fresh air of these places make the nature good and feel good. These are some reason due to will I will come back to my country and visit again and again for sure as I would miss these.
