Am so excited to participate in this contest which is about "My habits and me" this will be interesting to discuss in writing ✍️ I appreciate @ruthjoe for organizing this beautiful contest.

What is your opinion on habits

In my own understanding habits is defined as somehow character that is naturally in us, which we can say that is by inheritance or from our parents genetics.

But their are some habit that is not inherited while some are inherited.
And that is the reason why the advice parents to always leave a good life since from their childhood so that when they will grow up their children will not repeat those things which they have done at their youth age.
And if you check well it's really happening to parents, the kind of life the leave at their youth age or the kind of things the put their hands in always affect their offspring and that will come inform of habit and which will be difficult for them to change it in the future.

Are there habits you have that people around you have complained about? Mention them.

Yes, we all have habits that people may not like. For me:

I'll cook for everyone to eat, and I'll end up not eating any. Even from when I was at my father's house.

I have the habit of putting my shoes outside whenever I'm back from work, my husband will always take them inside the house. My mother used to do that.

Waking up from bed very late on none working days. It is so bad that I'll prepare breakfast for my family late.

I wake up to press my phone immediately after morning meditation. My husband complains about that too much.

What are your the strongest habits that has helped you over the years?

My strongest habit that has helped me over the years is the habit of never giving up and consistency. You can see from my Steemit journey that I'm a very consistent person and also a very dedicated Steemian.

Here in Nigeria, God has helped me because of my consistency and dedication to being among the tSteemiansian in terms of Steem power. This was all because I remained consistent and focused.

So using my Steemit journey as a case study you will agree with me that consistency and dedication have helped me so much to come this far. So you you wish to attend the height I have attended you must remain focused determined and also consistent as that is the key to having success.

Do you think habits can be learnt or do you think all the habits we have came from our parents as a result of birth?

Yes habits can be learnt. Just like a person who learned how to drink alcoholic beverages, from one day, another day is added and continually it becomes his habit, that even when he tries to stop it may not be easy for him.

And on the other side, some may come from the parent as a result of birth. My senior sister like drinking garri that many times we share it in my family, she will divide it into two parts and drink one.

And sometimes you might take some of your habits from your grandparents; people will be saying this girl or this boy is just behaving, or her habits are just like her grandparents.

Thanks for your time in my blog 🤗.
