In this contest I will be writing about the natural disasters that happens in my environment.
As everyday begins it brings new happenings and events full of possibilities either good or bad. It always comes with a fresh chapter to unfold waiting to be written. Yes, new experiences, encounters and opportunities await us shaping and creating stories in our lives in various ways.

It was of no doubt to the resident of this environment as they all know the reason for the flood. In my previous neighborhood watch I wrote on the calabar Itu highway which was under technical construction due to issue related to the recent incident, though the federal government rushed and intervene the damages by assigning a construction company to channel the erosion to a direction that will not cause harm to calabar Itu resident.

It is so sad that despite the effort from the company, it turn out that this season(raining season) is opposing the effort.

The incompletion of the calabar Itu water drainage In recent days made the environment experience severe flooding due to heavy rainfall and poor drainage systems as explain. The region's topography and the intensity of rainfall exacerbate the situation that leads to widespread inundation of lands, public infrastructure and businesses.

As it shows in the above picture, the inundation has destroyed the whole surface making tough for both pedestrian and for public means of transportation. It disrupt bus routes and other forms of public transportation.shops are in this environment are becoming inaccessible and unsafe, this affect the commute of resident and worker.

The disaster caused stress, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder due to the loss of property, displacement, and the trauma of experiencing this natural disaster. And I guess, according to health study such disaster often carries pathogens like bacteria and parasites from sewage and dumps. This contamination may lead to different diseases such as malaria and others.

Thanks for your time in my blog.
I will love to invite.
