What is Social Media ?

Social media is a digital technology created to allow people share their ideas, information (both texts and visuals) ,
stay in touch, interact with friends and families, promote businesses and organizations, stay updated about current events and trends, through virtual networks and communities.

Do you support that our daily lives should be put up on social media all the time ?

ICT (information and communication technology) has developed rapidly over the past years and in today’s world Social media have become one of the important mediums of mass communication with high engagement by individuals.
personally I do not support the act of putting up our daily lives on the social media all the time, but some occasions and occurrences are worth being brought to the social media for the fact that social media has evolved from just a means for staying in touch with friends and family to being used in various ways that creates impact in the society, as we derive knowledge from people’s ideas and way of life and also question people’s culture and opinion for clarity.

Have you ever experienced or seen any case where a person has the habit of showcasing his life on social media and the effects turned out well ?

Yes, I know of a good friend of mine whose behavioral addiction, and uncontrollable urge made him so concerned about social media, he has always been very devoted in using and showcasing his life on social media platforms , which at some point made him noticed by most social media users. Turns out that he is now an influencer as millions of users follow and engage on his daily life updates.

Do you think all the showcase on social media are true ?

From my personal experience, in social media one chooses the part of their lives to let the public know and which to keep private, and as such I don’t think all the showcase on social media are true.
I mean the most happy visuals can come from a sad person and the saddest posts can come from a very happy person. Also Social media is a place with a very high number of impersonators making it difficult to believe all showcase are true.

Do you feel safe on steemit with your information? What can you say about steemit

Yes, definitely STEEMIT is one platform I’ve seen with a very strict security which makes me feel safe and all my informations secured. Unlike other platforms with low rules, poor security and zero uniqueness, Steemit Alerts it users on any scam approach and also ensure that user handles can only be accessed by it rightful owners.
