Nigeria is in a sorry state now. The people of Nigeria can’t deny that this is the lowest point in the history of Nigeria. Nigeria is facing challenges that had brought the country on it knees. I will pen down the challenges of Nigeria in the cause of writing.
The stunted growth of the economy of the nation. Nigeria is a country rich with natural resources like oil and gas, coal, gold, rich and fertile land for agriculture etc. the country has abandoned others resources we are blessed with and only depended on oil and this is affecting the country’s economic growth.

Tribalism and nepotism have affected the country negatively. Employment opportunities and job opportunities are hijacked by a group or tribe while qualified youngsters are denied those opportunities because of tribalism and nepotism. This has affected reduction of poverty in the nation which in turn results to social vices among the youths in the nation.
Security challenge is the most confronting issue Nigeria is facing now. This security challenge calls for state of emergency. The kidnapping, banditry, armed robbery; bombing, unknown gun men etc are making the country unsafe for its citizens. To tackle the issue of insecurity in the nation, it is important to use centralized police just like America, this will make the police officers to be accountable of their state and the activities there.

The effects of this are seen in the reduced food productions, inflation on household commodities and food and starvation in many places. Investors are also scared of coming to Nigeria to invest.
Why am I the best candidate to fill this position?
Most political leaders in Africa deceive the citizens by making promises they are sure they can’t fulfil and most of the citizens only want something for the now without thinking about the future. I want you all to go through my portfolio and see my good track records. I have worked in the central bank of Nigeria where during my regime there was no deficit but the country has surplus. I have also ruled my state and there was evidence of development and job opportunities during my tenure. My motto is “Youth first”. Any nation who does not have the youth at heart is bound to fail. These few achievements I made in the past and my agenda as the president of Nigeria makes me the best candidate for this position.
What I have to offer
To make a difference and make Nigeria great again, I will work in the following sectors:
security sector
I will bring in more professional military training for the military personnel, remove those who are not qualified and untrained and increase their salary package and welfare. Reward those who are outstanding in carrying out their duties and punish the offenders. I will also make provisions for training courses to keep the military personnel updated on how to handle security issues.
AGRICULTURAL SECTOR
I will make Nigeria like China in terms of agriculture. I will make loan accessible and without interest to farmers and subsidize the prices of fertilizers and agrochemicals in the country. I will make mechanized agriculture affordable to farmers and will encourage the youths to go into agriculture.

EDUCATION SECTOR
The education sector in Nigeria is in shamble. Teachers are not respected nor treated well. The peanut salary paid to teachers is very discouraging. Most times teachers’ salary are unpaid for months. This result to strike action by the teachers for moths and the students suffer for this.

This is why you see half-baked graduates on the streets because the education sector is nothing to write home about. I will make sure qualified and experienced teachers are employed in academic institutions and I will make education free up to first degree.
