In your own words what do you understand by the word security
People are known to be born into hostile environments and gradually adjust to leading regular lives by studying human history. But human life is plagued with uncertainty and disaster caused by different dangers and hazards in society and the environment, such as theft, unemployment, accidents, natural disasters, hostile external attacks, etc. Generally speaking, security means the freedom of individuals and organizations to be free from harm caused by any unauthorized, unforeseen, deliberate, or accidental event.
In your country, in what ways has the government been able to keep the citizens safe?
My country's name is Bangladesh. To protect its people, the Government of my country has adopted several measures.
Security has therefore improved all around the nation. In addition, to social security, they also offer elderly benefits, healthcare, and housing for the underprivileged. Along with the police and village guards, the military, navy, and other armed forces must assist in preserving the safety of the population of our country. Despite recent advancements, the government has to treat security with greater seriousness.
Personally, what do you do for yourself or your family to be safe in your town or country?
My neighborhood's got a little bit of safety over the rest of the city. The front gate is always guarded by the doorman. Additionally, the gate has CCTV cameras and is secured against uninvited visitors. If a visitor wishes to come to my apartment, the doorman makes a phone call from downstairs. Even so, there is a worry of theft or robbery if no one is home. For these reasons, I worry less about security. Even though, I lock the gate when I go anywhere.
Have you experienced or heard of any case of insecurity (robbery or kidnap)? What happened?
To celebrate Eid with their families, the majority of city dwellers travel back to their rural homes. At the time, there were a few people in the building next to mine. Then a thief somehow entered a flat in the building and took many things. The police later found out that the doorman was involved in the theft. Then the police arrested the doorman and the thief.
What do you think is the best way to keep a home secure?
The most crucial factor in home security, in my opinion, is self-awareness. We must guard our assets with care. We must secure the gate and guard our keys carefully if we go anyplace outside the home. In front of the house, bright lights should be positioned. The home ought to have CCTV protection, if necessary. It would be best to install the gate video doorbell. We can make our home safe by hopefully taking the steps outlined above.
