Cordial salutation to All !
Hi everyone in Steem4Nigeria community, I hope you are all doing well. I'm happy to be a part of this fantastic event, and I want to thank @benton sir for organizing it. I've drawn an octopus here.
📢The materials I used
✅ Paper
✅ Pencil
✅ Eraser
Let's start drawing:
🎨Step 01🎨
I sketch the head's general form. Where the eyes are, I then put an oblong shape. This foreshortening indicates that the observer may see more of one side of the octopus than the other. Then I sketch the eyes. They feature a slit-shaped pupil, are big, and are encased in a capsule.
🎨Step 02🎨
I include the tentacles or the arms framework. The eight tentacles of an octopus are separated into four pairs. First, I have drawn two tentacles on the right side of it. I must sketch the suckers to the inner of the tentacles. As the limb gets closer to the end, the suckers get smaller, so I just note the tiniest ones with minimal information.
🎨Step 03🎨
Similarly, on the other side, I have added three more tentacles which are attached to the head
🎨Step 04🎨
Now I have drawn two more tentacles with their suckers.
🎨Step 05🎨
As a final addition to this, I shaded this Octopus to make their parts more visible.
✅What type of animal is it? |
---|
A mammal or a fish is not the same as an octopus. Members of the class Cephalopoda, which also contains squid, cuttlefish, and nautiluses, include octopuses. While most octopuses do not pose a serious threat to people, some do. Although octopuses mostly use their arms to crawl down the ocean floor, they can also swim swiftly by employing a siphon to discharge water, a technique known as jet propulsion. They can move around in a variety of settings because of this. They are skilled escape artists from tanks and can solve riddles, untie knots, and open jars, and toddler-proof containers. Even more intriguing is the fact that around two-thirds of their neurons are located in their arms rather than their heads and that their intellect is derived from a path that is entirely distant from human intelligence.
✅What are the tentacles used for? |
---|
On the head of the octopus are thin, flexible organs called tentacles. Octopuses may stretch and retract their tentacles to seize or capture prey that is farther away. Tentacles also usually appear in pairs. Only close to the limb's end do tentacles have suction cups. To effectively hold their prey, certain squid species have suction cups that resemble sharp hooks.
It's time to end my blog for today. I want to invite @shuhad, @mdparvaj, and @bossj23 before I leave. We will see you all in my new blog, Insha'Allah.
