Greetings fellow steemians,
Welcome once again to my blog. I'm by name Nwigwe Simon Sunday with the username @simonnwigwe. I'm glad to participate in this wonderful contest organised by @fredquantum in the @steem4nigeria community. The title of this contest is "Create a short Story with owned Pictures in your Gallery". Stay tight as you read all through to the end.

One of the images that I want to display here is the picture I took during my matriculation as a new student at the university. We all know how had it is to gain admission into Nigerian Universities and for that reason whenever anyone gets admission and does his or her matriculation he feels very fulfilled. My case was not a different one because after searching for admission for about four years, without any hope, I finally got it and that gave me a lot of joy.

On this faithful day of matriculation, I was so happy and couldn't believe it. Hence we took a lot of pictures but this particular picture is the one I took alone I always kept it on the phone and it is saved as the most visited photos. This was the very day that our name was written using a pen because we were officially inducted into the university as students.

The day I finished my final paper at the university is another great day I can never forget in a hurry. It was a dream come true. I have been seeing a lot of people signing out and I will always ask myself when will my turn come. On the day of my last paper, all the students in my compound came and waited for me outside the classroom where the exams were held. I was so excited that day because I have finally finished all struggles about the early morning lecture, assignment, test etc.

The joy in me was very massive because of the support and love shown to me that very day. Everyone in the university always looks forward to graduating because of the stress accompanied by studies. A lot of goodwill messages were sent to me on a faithful day and even those who have not called me for a very long time called to congratulate me on my success. I took a lot of pictures but this is so special to me.

As a graduate of a higher institution here in Nigeria, the next thing we look forward to is becoming a corp member. If you graduate from the university without going for service here in Nigeria, it will be as if you didn't attend the university or probably you failed and that is the reason for not going for service. To a layman, all those who went to the university must go for service and wear the NYSC khaki to prove that they have attended school.

I was so delighted on the day I was mobilized for NYSC but on getting to the camp, we are called prospective corps members which implies that we are not yet corps members then on that faithful day of swearing in I took this picture above. This day is the day that we take an oath and become full government children. On this special day, our name changed from prospective corps members to corps members. I was overwhelmed with joy on this faithful day.
