Greetings fellow Athenians,
It's a pleasure on my part to join this amazing contest organised by one of the most outstanding steemian on this noble platform. @pennsif is one of the most active contributors to the steemit platform because he carries out virtual project and real-life projects.

Today, I will be attempting a contest organised by this great user which talks about a very unique topic called Anagrams. To most of us, this is a very familiar word because we have known about it for a while now but to others, it is not familiar.

Be it as it may, I crave your indulgence to read through my post till the end because I believe there are a few things you will be learning today from this publication. Let's get started.

What are Anagrams

From my little understanding, an anagram can be defined as the act of rearranging a particular word or phrase to give us another word or phrase by making use of the letters present in the words or phrase just once without repetition.

In other words, we can see anagrams as a word or phrase rearrangement that gives a different meaning entirely from the original word or phrase.

Most times, an anagram is done in a form of games to enable people to make better use of their brains as they will learn to think faster. A lot of words or phrases can be gotten from the original word or phrase.

Anagrams are words gotten from the main words or phrases called the subject. This implies that you can have many anagrams from a particular subject. The only thing is that you must use every word from the subject just once to qualify it to be an anagram.

There are basically, a few types of anagrams which include the word and phrase anagram. In the word anagram, you only have to deal with a particular word whereas, in the case of the phrase, you will be dealing with a group of words.

Examples of anagrams

The table below shows us a few word anagrams that are somehow popular and easy.

How to solve Anagrams

mine.PNG

Solving an anagram is quite very easy and at the same time difficult especially when you don't want to think much. As I have stated above during my definition of the term, you have to use all the letters involved in the words or phrases and it has been just once. It implies that you don't use a letter more than once. An example book is written by kobo which shows that all letters are used just once.

Furthermore, you have brought out all the letters involved that you wish to rearrange and then take them in pairs and see what you can get. You will try to form words less than the total words first and advance gradually to using all the letters involved. Sometimes, it is not easy to get the words so if you get stuck, give yourself a little break and then allow your brain to rest before you continue.

Good Anagram solving sites.

There are many anagram-solving sites and among which include wordplays which you can download on the Google play store for android users, Anagram solver can also be downloaded from the Google play store, crossword solver, anagrammer etc.

All of the sites and applications listed above are very good to solve anagrams. In truth, an anagram only needs much practice for you to be more successful. Building new words is not too easy but with constant practice, you will become even more familiar with a few words and also increase your chances of getting them right on time.
