What is a promise? Give three (3) common reasons why promises are broken

A promise is an agreement between two parties, it can be business, financial, or family. When a person gives assurance and confidence to another person about something that he will keep his promise, then it is called promise. But breaking that trust midway is called breaking a promise. In this way, due to breaking of promise, one party or the other gets affected and feels hurt.

There can be many reasons for breaking of promises but here I would like to clarify 3 reasons. The first reason for a promise being broken is that the person making the promise has already made up his mind that he will not fulfill his promise to the other person.

Secondly, the reason for breaking of promise is due to the own shortcomings and carelessness of both the parties, because to fulfill any promise, it is the responsibility of both the parties to fulfill the promise made to each other, such promises are mostly like love, marriage, Friendship is meant to last a lifetime.

The third reason for breaking a promise is due to some social, economic, or physical compulsion, in which one of the parties breaks the promise under compulsion and feels guilty for it.

Have you ever experienced a broken promise? How did it make you feel?

There are many incidents in life in which we feel that someone has broken his/her promise. I too am not an exception to this. Many times, people have not kept their promises, and I have experienced financial and mental distress. . For example, I had lent a large amount of money to my close relative and he broke his promise by not repaying it, this ended the domestic and mental relations between him and me forever.

How do you handle broken promises? Do you confront the person or let it go?

I have experienced breaking of promises by many people, I do not take breaking of ordinary promises very seriously, but I keep the above incident in the category of deliberate deception. I never caused any harm to anyone in any incident of breaking the promise made to me, rather I handed him over to God because only God would decide the punishment for his sins.

Do you believe that some promises are meant to be broken? why or why not?

Yes, I also said above that some promises are made only to be broken, many times such situations arise when a person, in order to get rid of himself, makes a false promise to someone, which he has no intention of keeping. But according to my opinion, such a false promise should not be made because in future such matters can take a bigger form and can also have huge side effects.

What steps can be taken to rebuild trust after a promise has been broken?

What steps should be taken to restore trust after a broken promise depends on what harm the other person has caused you by breaking the promise. If he has done so intentionally, then you should always protect yourself from taking any action against him. Have to face troubles.

That's why I never thought of any better solution than removing such promise breakers from my life. Yes, if someone has not fulfilled any promise out of compulsion, then by talking in that matter the matter has been resolved with mutual consent and mutual trust has been restored in the relationship.
