Hello dear friends, it's my pleasure to be participating in this #steemengagement challenge contest by @steem4nigeria, being my first post alert in the community.

In this contest, we were asked to write about our manifesto as the president of our country, if we are given the platform. If you missed the Contest post, you can visit it here.

What Is A Manifesto??

Before we get started with the context of our discussion, I will like to remind us what manifesto is about.

According to Wikipedia, A manifesto is a published declaration of the intentions, motives, or views of the issuer, be it an individual, group, political party or government.

Basically in my context here, I am here to publicly declare what I will achieve for my country as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Current State Of Nigeria

It is nolonger a news that the current state of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has degraded to zero. So many things had gone wrong in this country which gives me heartbreaks each time I remembers them. It will be nice that I talk about some of the dilapidated state of the country below.

Insecurity:

The current state of security in Nigeria is just zero. The insecurity level is equal to none. In most states, people no longer live and walk around in peace safely, without hearing a negative news on daily basis.

In the South West part of Nigeria, we have cybercrimes, armed robbery, kidnapping, domestic crime, herder-farmer conflicts, ritual killings, and banditry.

In the South East we have ritual killings, commercial crime, kidnapping, herder-farmer clashes, attacks by unknown gunmen, and banditry.

The South-South is characterized with threats by militancy, kidnapping, and environmental agitation.

In the North East it had been subject to a humanitarian crisis by the Boko Haram insurgency and religious violence by Islamic guys, which takes lives on daily basis.

The new wave now is that biko haram will get into a gathering and kill everyone present without any reason.

The high level of insecurity in Nigeria has claimed thousands of uncountable lives and extensive damage and loss of properties, and yet nothing had been done about all these.

Corruption:

The high level of corruption in the country cannot be over emphasized. Starting from the leaders to the masses, it's all corruption and embezzlement. Leaders no longer get into the office to represent the masses, rather they go to embezzle money for their generations unborn and leave the masses to suffer and unleash their anger on their fellow citizens.

Unemployment:

The high level of unemployment in Nigeria is much, people suffer, go to school only to graduate to no job. Even the previous president has publicly declared to the youths that there are no jobs for them after school. This is dehumanizing. What hope does our youths have, none. nd when we check, most of the reasons why there is a high level of armed rubbery, crimes, rituals and kidnapping is because of lack of employment.

Lack Of Good Infrastructure:

There are no new infrastructures any longer by the government. All we have are the very old infrastructures built by past regimes, and these infrastructures are very old and getting bad.

The roads are very bad with potholes everywhere, causing road accident on daily basis.

There is also poor electricity supply in the country. So many places especially the rural areas doesn't have access to electricity, and this is so bad.

Why I Am Qualified To Be The President Of Nigeria

• I have passion and love for the well being of the citizens of my country Nigeria. That is why the current state hurts me so much and I want to make amends on all that had gone wrong.

• I want to see the youths rise and shine again, by offering them employment and as well creating an opportunity for them in the political level. This is because the future belongs to the youth. If our youths amounts to nothing, our country has amounted to nothing.

• I want to restore security and sanity again to this nation Nigeria. I am going to make sure that there is peace, unity and progress in the country just as our motto said.

• I am going to fight corruption to a stand still in my regime and make sure everyone has and receives equal right in the country.

• I am going to build and repair our infrastructures that had gone bad with a more sufisticated equipments.

The Most Pressing Problems Nigerians Are Encountering Now

Just like I out-listed above in the current state of the country, those are the major problems Nigerians are facing right now.

Solution To Insecurity:

I am going to mobilize the military by giving them an upgraded trainings as well as providing them with sufisticated weapons to fight boko haram and the likes. They will also look out for those kidnappers and arrest and deal with all of them.

Solution To Unemployment:

I am going to build more companies and industries to accommodate our youths.

I will also give a free skill acquisition and empower to those who wants to acquire skills so they can stand financially.

Solutions To Lack Of Infrastructure:

I am going to consolidate on the roads and make sure they are good.

I will also make sure that the electricity is circulated everywhere in all the nukes and crowns the country.

My Innovations

Yes of a true I have been nursing some innovations in my mind for a while now, especially I'm the aspect of security.

• Introduction of Drone Cameras In The Country:
  I am going to set drone cameras in all corners of the nation. So everything in the nation will be monitored. By doing this, people cannot do some things and get away with it. There will be no hiding place for any law breaker.

• Introduction Of AIs Into The Military:
  I am going to Introduce the use of AI in our military. Some of those states that seems dangerous, the AIs will be deployed there to go get those Boko Haram and Bandits terrorising everyone in the state.

• I am going to make sure that our local currency (Naira) will equate the dollar rate in the market. This had really been a serious headache for me. And I am all out to solve that problem.

These and more are my manifesto as your upcoming President my dear country Nigeria, and I believe that you are all glad to have me as your president.

The election is here again, let's vote for good governance.
