What are the mistakes you think you have made since you were born?

Since I was born have made lots of mistakes in life in which I don't want to even remember. These mistakes has also caused fee harm to me and I wish I never did such things. These are the few mistakes. 👇

Fought with my mum

In the year 2022 I had issues with my mother and I wasn't happy with the situation. I told my mum I want to go for an important meeting in our church that evening and she refused to permit me to go.

All of a sudden I started fighting with my mum after we quarrelled. I was fighting my own mum as if she was my mate, my siblings and dad weren't at home at the moment. I don't know what made me do such a thing.

Laziness in studies

When I was in Primary 4 many years ago, I wasn't serious with my studies anymore and this started immediately my father bought a bicycle for me. I was excited about the gift to the extent I didn't notice I was shying away from my studies.

It quickly dawned on me after I saw my third term results and discovered I took a very bad position (24th out of 35) I and few of my classmates then were told to repeat the class and we were so unhappy.

Disrespecting my seniors

I was always disrespecting my seniors in school when I was still a junior secondary school student. My friends and I were always making noise in our classroom and our seniors will tell us to keep quiet, even after we get punished we will still be making noise.

There was a time we set traps for our seniors the day they were coming to punish us for refusing to clear bush after coming to school late. Our seniors fell down and hot so much injury while we laughed and video them. I never respected my seniors in school.

Do you think it is your past mistakes that are affecting your growth in life?

Yes my past mistakes are seriously affecting my present life. After I fought with my mum, she reported me to our Reverend father since am an altar server and my Reverend father punished me dearly and got me suspended. From that moment he's always seeing me as a bad person even as have changed.

The other one is the fact that my classmates in school then are now my seniors and they don't really associate with me like before and I wished I never repeated. I once told my father that I will love to write my junior WAEC exams in Jss 2 instead of Jss 3 and he refused and said I deserve to manage the class am in because I made myself repeat.

The last one is that my juniors don't respect me at all, this made me to believe the popular saying Life is turn by turn. I was disrespecting my seniors when I was in senior secondary and now am a senior and my juniors doesn't respect me and some of my classmates that didn't respected our seniors then.

Do you always blame people or yourself for making mistakes, as no one can be perfect?

I don't really blame anybody for making mistakes because from the look of things, is obvious that all the mistakes I made were caused by my own actions and nobody advised me to live such live.

My mistakes have made me to realized that life isn't a bed of roses you must endure today to enjoy tomorrow. I wish I studied all the time, I wouldn't have repeated class. I wish I never disobey my seniors, my juniors would have been giving me the respect I need. If I hadn't fought with my mum, our Reverend father wouldn't have still be seeing me as a bad boy.

The following are few tips you need to follow in life in other to prevent you from making mistakes even if nobody is perfect;
