The Courage to Start Afresh

The last time I delegated to a Newcomer, my trust was misplaced.

@tempestinyang - You've got over 100 SP in unclaimed rewards and 100 STEEM that you've not powered up.

That'll double your power instantly.

Oh thank goodness! Finally someone who understood English is here. She insulted me because I asked a mentor to delegate some Sp to his mentee. That was why she tagged you.

Please no offense. Why am I the one to delegate SP to @glodick as a mentee? If I go about delegating SP to everyone I introduce to steemit then what will I have left for me?
When I was newly registered in steemit nobody delegated a dime for me.
I just don't understand the whole thing.

In the past, all new accounts would automatically get a certain number of delegations from Steemit. Now, not all newcomers are treated this way. Sometimes an account creator has to make sure the claimed account has power by sending them some STEEM to power-up. This has become the obligation of some account creators (claimers). I don't know if account creation tools like justyy's will delegate SP or not.

Why the change? What possibly happened to warrant the sudden change please?
That means I will have to stop bringing new people into steemit because it's frustrating to the newbies.

Why the change?

I don't know. I wasn't there. Maybe Steem was looking for investors. Or something like that. Or maybe it's just simply "Promote your mentees" message. For short, "Provide everyone you bring to Steem with some power to start".

That means I will have to stop bringing new people into steemit because it's frustrating to the newbies.

No, you don't. You just need to provide them with power to start. 10 SP will be quite enough for a start. And if you are lucky enough, you will find people that can help. But, of course, it's not that easy, basically you need to first gain trust before people are willing to help.

I know about that. I'm not a newcomer. You can delegate to me then will now delegate to @glodick

I really want to grow my SP this year. Support me in anyway you can.
Thanks @the-gorilla

It's getting interesting now. First you play the pathetic one working hard and not growing at all and if you are asked to power up you know, are not a newcomer and refuse?

It beats me why you want others to help you and your "friend" @glodick

Who did open that account? Did you, since someone did?

And why not delegate a few SP if you have access to that account anyway? It is not that you lost it.

To answer your question: No way I will be your mentor. If you learned nothing after all those years you never will. I gave my best the entire 2024 to help and advice and all it brought me was cheaters, liars, lazy Steemians, beggars and a drained wallet.

For sure you heard about that idiom... Something with a donkey and a stone!

Since you stated to @the-gorilla you are not a newcomer stop acting like an idiot and playing us. For sure Steemit is not a family and if you and many made clear not to be my family since you don't give a damn about me just yourself.

You know what the most annoying is and what makes people suoersticious about you? The fact you refuse to answer questions and to act.
You are told to powerup! Add those 200 to your SP and if you like you can delegate to your other account or let it be.

Every account can be grown without support or delegated SP which I told your complaining friend who can post to complain bit could also post something good instead!

Btw what baffles me most is the reply after tips are given. It sounds more as if you two see it as my duty to provide you in everything. Start reading and get wiser!

That account @glodick isn't my account

You can delegate to me then will now delegate to @glodick

Free Quiz Question - Complete this sentence:

You can go ? ?

You have 200 STEEM Power that you haven't powered up but feel that you can't spare 15-25-50 STEEM to help YOUR FRIEND to make a decent start on things.

Even at the maximum I'd reccoment - 50 STEEM, that's only 25% of the power YOU'RE NOT USING.

I'm not delegating to you or her.

I truly hope the answer isn't my name or HELL. I like to have a hot spot for myself

another proof of lack of brain and the avoiding answering questions....

🍀♥️

Ps let me know if I at least won this riddle

The answer isn't that polite 😉

I didn't win?

Not this time, sadly. Maybe next time.

Because I don’t care about you or your friend. Why should I care? What have you contributed that I should care enough to give you something that took me nearly 4 years to earn?

I thought steemit was a family without barrages and selfishness?

Coming from somebody who’s too selfish to help their friend.

Just fuck off.

I have the answer: there is no love in Steemit.
Why not? Because 98% cannot be trusted.

I can't lie just to gain some SP.
Why would I jeopardize my integrity for SP
