My goal or target for the season 8 engagement challenge

Hello everyone, it is good to be here. I am a first-time writer in this community and I am happy to be writing, as I love expressing my thoughts through writing. I am not a perfect writer, and please while reading, read with an open heart as I am a newbie. I will be using the #newcomer tag since I am relatively new, and my first post just paid out (actually, that post was set at 100% power-up). Before I continue, let me use this opportunity to appreciate my mentor @ngoenyi for putting me through the nitty-gritty of Steemit, and for always being there to guide me through all the way. I also will like to appreciate @ponpase for the 100SP delegation, I am grateful for the sacrifice. This said, let's continue with the post.

What are your goals or target for season 8 of the steemit engagement challenge?

Being new means you do not have an idea of most of the activities going on in the community but I am one that is very inquisitive and would like to participate in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 8, I decided to do a little reading and I learned that as its name sounds, it is basically about creating contents based on community and increasing engagement. With this, I aim to interact properly with others in the community by creating comments on posts, replying to other user's comments, and encouraging conversation by leaving interactive comments on people's posts (I am looking at creating 50 comments before the end of the first week as a newbie), upvoting posts (even though my votes might not have significant value, but they will show my interest in the content), and meeting great people in the community.

How do you intend to achieve this goal or target?

The first step to achieving a goal is first setting the goal, and making sure that the goals are measurable so they can be achievable. I will be creating my entry to the communities in the contest, I will ensure that immediately I drop my ink pen on this post, I create 15 comments today, and will keep creating a minimum of 15 comments on a daily basis, so I can meet my set milestone of 50 comments on a daily basis. In other to be able to meet new people, I will ensure I engage in the community thereby allowing for interaction. I will also be reading posts and upvoting the posts that I find interesting.

If you have the opportunity to make some changes in the Steemit engagement challenge for season 8, what will you change?

---

As a newbie, I had to wait for my first payout and be a member of Club5050, Club70, or Club100 before I can participate. If I were to make any significant changes, I would have said that the admins be a little lenient allowing newbies to participate in the contest. It will allow for a wider range of audiences and users to use it. Also, for the sake of publicity, I would have said that a certain reward for sharing posts on other centralized social media be available as it will help increase the numbers of users in the community, grow its SEO presence, catch the interest of investors and help build a robust community.

What message do you have for all the selected communities for this season's engagement challenge?

To whom much is given, much is expected. In cases where selections are made based on merit, leaders are expected to do great work. It is beautiful that the communities are sellected, and since heavy is the head that wears the crown, I wish them the best of luck in sincerity, clearity, and honesty.
