INTRODUCTION

Dear friends, I am here to share about how I spent my day. Before then, let me say something.

Life becomes boring to us when we become stereotypes. One therefore have to learn other ways to do the same things or learn to do different things.

I decided to go for a hard work, something I had done for more than a year. I had to go help out a brother who had being in my place for an electrical wiring and installation contract he had always gone out to do since last week. He came with no one to assist him and this has delayed his work. But I decided to go with him to help him instead of staying at home all day.

MY DAY'S ACTIVITIES

So I woke up at about 5:00am. I engaged with some posts on the Steemit Crypto Academy for a while and then had my devotion. By time I was done, power had been restored, so I went to the sitting room to finish a movie I had been seeing for some days. That was because I never had plans to go out. As I saw the movie, my brother prepared for work. He had already finished eating when he begged that I should go with him. I didn't think about it for long before I agreed. I agreed after I had jokingly said how much I would collect. He told me how much he would pay me for two days. I look at it and felt it was worth it.

So I stood up immediately to brush. When I was done, I dished food to eat after I had done some simple cleaning. I ate as quickly and before long, I was done, so I dressed up as we took our leave. We got to the work at about 9:30am.

The Building we worked.

Work started immediately for me because I was already told what to do from home. After I had checked the work environment for few minutes, I started.

Pipes already buried
It's a condit type of wiring so we were to bury the piped that were already fixed in the wall. This requires that I fetched so sand and mixing them with cement and water. I did that and we started to bury the pipes.
Pipes already buried
We walked and chatted until it was 2pm. We were both exhausted but there was still work to do, so my brother went to get bread and soft drinks. We ate to gather some strength.

After which we continued our work. It was quite fast because before we took a break, we had finished a flat. Myself,I have learnt how to be fast about the work, so quickly, we finished the second flat.

My Brother serious with work

At that time, it was already getting late but we still had some mixed sand. We had to finish them. So we went for the last flat. We buried some of the pipes in the third flat with the remaining sand.

Work was finished but all my body ached. We washed ourselves and left. We didn't go home straight but to buy some work equipments that we were short of. We didn't spend much time in the place as we left after we had bought them

We came home, and freshened up. I prepared food for us. We ate and stayed up for few minutes. I couldn't stay up like other times because I was so tired. I slept off at about 9:30am.

CONCLUSION

The work I went to do is one I should have learnt and taken as a hand work but I had not really given a thought. I had followed my brother to do that kind of work severally, but I have not really took notes of the basics.

My brother on the other hand learnt the work while still in secondary school. After secondary school he learnt from someone who had better experience than he was. He told me yesterday that after a while when his boss wasn't getting contracts on condit wiring, he went on YouTube and learnt it. He had done it for years even before and after graduation from higher institution. He is the best electrical engineer I know.
