Grace moaning,being in a deeply pains of labour and no one to help rush her to the hospital and Patrick who pregnanted Grace was returning from a day job(labourer), heard Grace voice from the door of the room which they were both living together as a tenant In uncle Godwin house.
So as Patrick heard Grace voice he ran to her and saw that Grace was really in pains ,about to give to birth. So Patrick left and ran to the highway to break a taxi that will take Grace to the hospital. So luckily a keke man(tricycle rider) stopped .
Patrick:"Abeg ah want carry you for shatta ,will you reach the FMC(FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTER) ebutte metta west at that police railway head quarters side".
Keke Rider:"Yes"
Patrick:"Abeg ride enter this compound ah want carry my woman,she wan born".
So the keke rider ride to the compound and and immediately Patrick went inside and grab Grace, consoling her on the pains she's going through .so Grace was taken inside tge keke.
Patrick: "abeg make we dey go".
So the keke man start his keke and he take Grace and Patrick to FMC ,as they both reached the hospital, Patrick helped Grace from the keke holding her shoulder and also grabing her waist to avoid more pains ,so as Patrick managed to walk Grace to the hospital reception,they were both asked to an buy hospital card
Patrick:"aw much be the card"
Nurse at the Reception:"Sir the card is just 3500 naira"
Patrick:"oya take, abeg where the doctor , make the try admit her*
After the payment of the hospital card, Grace was admitted instantly to the labour room , immediately the doctor that's to take her through the child delivery was set and the doctor started his job. Grace was in the labor for complete 1hr plus which gotten into fear.
Patrick:"God abeg make person daughter no come die put me for trouble abeg ah no get anywhere to run to"
As he was contemplating on how long Grace has been in the labor room,a nurse came out and was smiling at him .
Nurse: "you're so lucky he's a baby boy"
Patrick: "thank you Lord, I'm so grateful "
Nurse:"you can go and see them sir
Immediately Patrick run to go and see his new born child...
