I was uninformed that there is a class test.
When I was back from school one day, in school we have online platform to receive information concerning our academic activities. During the power outage in Uyo metropolis, I found it difficult to charge my phone. As usual I called my friend in the morning when I woke up on Wednesday to enquire if there is lecture.
My friend told me that there is a seminar for all the lecturer that all activities in the faculty that day is cancelled. To my greatest surprised at evening I heard that there was a class test, and I missed the test because my phone went of when the information was passed online.
How did you handle it and what were the lessons learnt.? |
---|
After the test, I tried to write and explain to my lecturer through my class representative that my device was down when the information was disseminated if he will agree to give me a make up test. Since that day, I decided to pay for my phone charge when there is power outage in my environment to avoid being uninformed.
In conclusion, information matters a lot as it can save lives and can also kill. To those out there, genuine information is what would add to the growth and development of this country.
I invite @basil20, @uyisaac and @usoro01 to participate......
Information is truly a vital part of living.
We need to be informed in order to avoid acting out of ignorance.
Through your test experience, you've learnt to always be alert.
I hope the lecturer considers your plea.
