Hello house, how's everyone doing welcome to my blog.i want to report an amazing event that shot down the streets of Aba last weekend.
This event is an exercise done by the people of Abiriba in Ohafia local government Area,Abia State.it happens every 4years and the time interval makes it always an awaiting moment.
The beautiful things about this 4 years event are the occasions we call traditional retirement (ime uche) active community service (igwa mang) and others. Aside from wedding and traditional marriage which happens at all times these two mentioned are the reasons why most of my people come from abroad to participate in them.
We had rally during the weekend in which a good number of people came out to join in the fun of trekking a long distance in a Aba not minding your class or status.it was even my very first time of participating in the exercise and i was really excited. There was no age limit to this journey even child were not left out everyone with their mate
At the end of the road walk we went back to our various houses to prepare for the evening get together that was full of food, drinks and dance.The igwa mang age group were all accompanied to there houses and they hosted those that followed them home to dance to and have fun with them.

This was how the igwa mang age grade dressed for their first outing.
I wish all us were an eye witnesses to this event because it was massive and full fun as I had the opportunity of meeting with old friends
and relatives.
