I'm about to share few thoughts with you now, and I'll start with what happened in my life on that date above.
Two years ago....?, I was actually trapped somewhere amidst the corona virus restrictions on the 22nd September,2020.
Trust me none of us will want to remember the experience we had back then, but there is something specific about this day two years ago in my life which I’ll like to share.
I was returning from a trip. It was actually from another state/region far from mine.
So, along the way, the police held us in our vehicle due to violating the corona virus restrictions and during this time the passengers were not expected to come down from the bus, only the driver.
while in the bus waiting for the driver to settle with the police, the next passenger seated very close to me was watching a very interesting, educative and catchy video from a user on twitter named Daniel Matarazzo.

I guess dannymatz90 is talented and we need such great figure in the blog, hopefully I’ll share this post with him on twitter, reason..? it was because of him, I met one of my good friend named Amora.
It was basically an educative video about the corona virus, the lyrics and the piano hitting was awesome, interesting creativity.
so I picked interest in watching and guess what happen next? Me and Amora where already communicating as if we have met decades ago, and we were basically talking about the video and friendship was formed just like that.
We talk on phone sometimes, and she has helped me on many occasion to submit Job applications.
Just this morning I received a message from her telling me she has moved to the Uk. So, I began to think about how we met, and at that point, I said to myself…”It is good to be good”.
If I was that bad when I met her that first day, she wouldn’t have remembered me till now. So what’s my point? Friendship counts a lot. Good relationship with others is important in life.
I’m glad, I met some good friends here in the blog through Sincere engagements and sometimes I wish I could see them in person. I know definitely I'll see them in person someday.
Perhaps, you could invest in more engagement with others in terms of reading their posts and giving some real , sincere quality comments and not a showy kind of comment to catch attention.Unfortunately it might not go well with some users.
And if we are using some scattered and provoking words in our comments on people’s content, then that’s not how to build friendship here in the blog. Don’t forget, this is different from correction.
And Now…?
I know I have lost many friends as well, some in death and some …life challenges, however, I am glad I met them.

Hopefully someday, I will do the guitar version to most of my friends here.
What do you think about these points raised…?, Do you think you can make friends here through engagements…? How about making comments that is not inline with the main content, does that count..?

This post really took a memory lane, truly it's good to be good, because we don't know tomorrow. You know it's one thing to make friends and it's another thing to keep them. The latter calls for communication(two ways) and commitment, I personally don't keep much friends but I hold tight the few I get.
Offcourse we can make friends on Steemit through engagements, I know we're very far away from some users, but sincerely, At times I used to feel loved and encouraged by some comments. But you know building friendship is not One sided, I mean we need to keep the energy flowing, sadly we at times fail on this aspect.
This normally turn me off, it shows that the person did not read the contents, I personally don't used to respond to this kind of users. For me I don't used to comment on any post without reading through.

I'm glad the post interest you. It was actually a good reminder for me today and it was coincidental when she called.
Being good is good, especially to a stranger, it's the relationship that matters...for real.
Sure, you can only comment well when you have read and understood a particular content and not just a shallow kind of comment just because you want to appear there.
And unfortunately, most users are not pleased with this....and no relationship can be built there.

You know, you've got a point when you said some people just commented for showy. I once had a discussion on this matter, and the response was not good at all, a lot of users felt compelled to comment meaningfully, they don't comment willingly and that's bad. Yeah I told someone before that most times it's not about upvote but I normally felt encouraged by quality engagement on my posts, that it shows that people like my content and find it interesting, they were laughing at me. But the truth is that one's write up must first of all interest readers, then vote will follow
