The Diary Game: A Joyous and Eventful Sunday|| 08/12/2024||

Season's Greetings @everyone Hope we're doing pretty good. Today, I'll be sharing a very Joyous and Eventful Sunday. Please, fastened your seat belt as every details will be touch with photographies. I remain your favorite Author @uyaiuyo.

In the morning, I woke up, prayed, exercised, carried out the necessary house chores and make breakfast with Custard and Akara for the kids. I ate my breakfast too with rice and stew, garnished with boiled egg, chicken, boiled plantain and cucumber. Chai! I know what's in your mind; that the food is too much right..... I caught you. It was a portioned meal.

There was no plans for church as my church had convention in another Local Government Area.

I had already promised my babies that I'll make cake for them, so they won't let me rest. I started cake making process. I sieved my flour and added all the dry recipes in it.

I broke my eggs, whisk until it was foamy. Note that in cake baking, the number of eggs you add determines how soft or fluffy you cake will be.

Into my bowl, I added sugar and butter for creaming. I creamed until the butter and sugar had a dropping consistency.

I added the foamy egg into the creamed butter and sugar and stirred. After that, I added the sieved flour with mixed dried ingredients bits by bits into the creamy butter and folded.

I reached out to my cake pan, greased it with butter and flour and turned in the cake batter into the cake pan and baked.

This was me checking if the cake was ready. Now this is how to know if your cake is ready when baking. Put in your toothpick into the cake while still baking, if the toothpick comes out with stains, the cake is not ready but if it comes out clean without stains then the cake is ready.

And here comes our almighty cake. The kids were very happy because I haven't made cake for them in a while. We allowed it to cooled and we enjoyed this yummycious awesomeness.

In the afternoon, I made preparations to attend the End Of The Year Party of "De Genesis Cartels Content Creators" which I am proudly a member.

I arrived at the venue, met with my colleagues. It was really a fun-filled day because we had so much fun.

In the evening, I was still at the venue. We started with a brief meeting and then the main party started. There was a lot to eat, drink and chew.

We had a photo session, and it was indeed a very memorable one.

Like this, our crew is made up of both married and singles. So, while the party was ongoing, I left around 9pm since it was already late and arrived at my house few minutes to 10pm. I had my shower and since I was already tired, I didn't waste time, I just retired to my bed. This was how I spent my Sunday.
