Hello everyone here in this community greetings from this end to you all. I hope everyone here on Steem4Nigeria community and Steemit at large are all doing great. If so then all thanks to the almighty.
It's been a while i posted or engaged in a contest here, and today i would like to be a part of this wonderful contest created by one of the hardworking member of this community @simonnwigwe with the title "My Favorite Steemit Moment". Please ride with me as i do write about my own favorite moment and as well answer some of the questions stated in the contest rules.
Since i became a member on the steemit platform, i have really had so many happy moments, right from the first post i got curated, to subsequent post i got booming supports on, and also the times where my posts were selected as best pick for the day and first position in various contest. But one of my favorite moment was the first day i physically met with some steem users @samuelebuka and @solexybaba and some other friends. I had known @samuelebuka for a while but that very day was the first time i met @solexybaba. That very day of meeting with @solexybaba was a major turnaround in my steemit journey because the meeting was very interesting as @solexybaba revealed to me so many secrets i needed to know about the steemit platform and some of the opportunities and important of the platform. I would never forget how i got motivated that very day and j guess that was one of the reasons why i am still on this platform today.
That very day, after the meeting, i posted in Steemkids community and my post was choosen as one of the beat picks for the day. That was really a day to remember and still remains my most favorite moment here on steemit.
Yea, so many times. A number of times i have experience sieze in support from the big curators. The orientation i had from the people that thought me how to use steemit was that "quality posts attracts more curation" and for a while, i almost started doubting that fact because to me i have created series of post which i take so much time on just to make sure it turn out to be a qualitative one, but i end up getting little or even no curation atimes for it.
At some point, i wanted to give up on steemit, but with the encouragement and motivation from some of the people i look up to on this platform, i feel like "if they can get to this level, i too can"
people like @solexybaba, @eliany, @goodybest, @badmusofficial and so many others has in one way or the other contributed to been a source of my motivation on this platform. Seeing the level they have attained, keep making feel like i have a long way to go and if i have to reach that level i will have to work harder. Also, steemit has so far served as a means of passing knowledge, showcasing of talents and development of skills and this in question has in one way or the other kept me moving. There was a time it seemed like i had limited idea on what to post about, and then i came across a drawing contest organized by @eliany, i was excited because even though i have limited idea at that point, i knew how to draw and somehow that also kept me motivated. Finally self motivation is one of the beat kind of motivation. I set goals for my self and i have decided to archive any goal i set my self. All these put together and so many more have motivated me to keep blogging even when the blogging was not coming forth.
Advice to those whose support from big curators is not coming forth any long is; they should keep on creating qualitative contents, support other people's post too via commenting, increase their voting sci (that is voting on other people's post), and also set goals for their selves. to those facing such challenge,i will advice them to get a mentor on this platform, learn he or her style of writing and develop ur own skill and be consistent in posting. I will also want to advice them to, subscribe to different communities and engage in various contest too. Lastly, lets not just look at what we can benefit from now but also look into the future.

It's not easy being on Steemit without the encouragement from curators. Sometimes, I stopped thinking about the rewards and uploaded content constantly knowing that one day, I will be remembered. I wish you luck
