Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 59: Adapting to Changes that comes with a change of environment.

Hello my fellow steemians I want to believe that you are all doing well. I want to participate in this contest about change.

What difference did you notice as a result of the change in environment.

As humans, we are totally faced with changes in our environment which needs us to adapt and relate in order to thrive. One such change that I have recently experienced is the move from my old town to a new one. The difference in environment was quiet noticeable right away, from the pattern of the streets to the weather patterns and even the total vibe which the people are giving.

How did you cope/ how are you adapting to the new environment?

Coping with this change has not been that easy, as I saw myself missing the familiarity and comfort which I had in my old environment.

However, I have been trying to relate by getting to know my new surroundings, meeting new people, and trying new activities. It has been a challenging process, but I am a little by little finding my footing and starting to feel at home in this new environment.

If you were asked to choose, would you prefer the old environment to the new or otherwise? Share with us your reasons.

If I were asked to choose between the old environment and the new, I would have say that I would choose the old environment. While the new environment has its own particular charm and opportunities, there is a particular sense of nostalgia and connection which I have with my old city that cannot be replaced. The memories, relationships, and experiences which I had there are incomparable, and I saw myself longing for them as I run this new chapter of my life.

In conclusion, change in environment can be both exciting and at the same time challenging.
