Hello friends, it is feels good to write in this community once again, today I would love to talk about a game that everyone loves, Chess. Chess is a very wonderful game so let's talk it about for some time.

Chess

Chess is a mind game that should only be played from three years of age and up, it requires your brain or thinking department to be put to work. Chess is classified as a board game, other board games can be draft, sudoku and others. Chess consists of various pieces which move differently, a chess is just like a battle field which the king and Queen of each opposing sides are involved, it involves killing the opponents pieces with a formed strategy, and then checkmate the king. The pieces moves differently into various aspects of the board, they are many pieces, we have the rook, bishop, knight, the Queen and the King and the ponds. Let's talk about the way they move and how they kill one by one. Let's start with the;

A) Rook :

The rooks are very important pieces that are used carefully to kill each enemy. In each color(white or black) the rooks are two. The rooks move horizontally and vertically that is straight and side ways it also kills that way. It is a very useful and special piece that should be cherished.

B) Bishop :

It is also a special and tactful piece. The bishop and the rook are very important when it comes to long killing or killing from afar. A bishop can stay at one end of the board and kill another piece at the other end but it only moves and kills diagonally. It is just like a sniper in a battlefield, it lays at rest waiting for an enemy to enter into its trap.

C) Knight :

This is a piece but to me it is not much of an important piece. It just helps in guarding the king and the queen from any sort of enemy. It moves in an L form, that is 1,2 then turn in any direction. It is most important when it comes with protection, then it also helps in covering up for all the pieces especially the rook and the bishop. It is also two in each color.

D) Queen :

The Queen is the most important piece on the board because it is second to the king. The queen moves like the bishop diagonally and like the rook horizontally and vertically. It is the almighty piece because it is very very dangerous.

E) King :

The mastermind behind the whole pieces on the board. If the king is checkmated the whole game ends there. The king can only move one step at a time but any box. This is the royalty that should be protected with all cost.

F)Ponds:

The ponds are just frontiers that advance first before the special pieces move.

We should know that checkmating is the act of putting the king in a corner, which means that any where he moves, he will be killed or captured

Wow knowing about chess is really interesting, there are still more to talk about if I am privileged, I would talk about various skills in chess. Thanks and see you next time
