Hello dear friends in this wonderful steem4nigeria community, today I would love to talk on a topic that is very interesting it is entitled "Communication ", so let's start discussing about it:

COMMUNICATION

Communication can be defined as the act of getting in contact with one another to either deliver a message or to discuss other issues. It is the exchanging of topics or news between humans or departments.
Back in the olden days Communication among humans were taken out through the following ways;

A) Wooden drum
B) Metal gong
C) Talking drum
D) Flute
E) Message carriers and other available means.

But now in the modern day technology has put forward the means of spreading information we had, let's consider some methods or ways in which communication is carriedmout.

Methods of communication

Communication is carried out in two ways, for the first way we have the;

1. Oral mode of communication: This is the means of communicating through words from the mouth, and these include;
   A) Telephone
   B) Face to face
   C) Television
   D) Radio
   E) Intercom media etc.......

For the second mode we have the;

1. The written mode of communication: This is the exchanging of information using handwritten or inputted words. It is the most satisfying means of communicating in work or business.
   The handwritten mode of communication are;

A) Letters
B) Notices
C) Fax
D) Internet
E) Reports

We now want to see the importance of exchange of information in business;

1. It aids in the placing of others for goods
2. It helps in advertising a business products
3. It reduces the amount of business vacations or trips that may take place.
4. It develops the system of the country
5. Thanks to communication employment opportunities are provided.

Now let's talk about some service provided by communication agencies;

They are;

1. Postal and telegraphic services
2. Telephone services
3. Internet services
4. Courier services

Under the postal and telegraphic services we have the NIPOST, which help in;

1. Distributing and getting letters
2. Selling of postage stamp
3. And provision of telegraphic services.

Under the telephone services we have the NITEL, which helps in

1. Phone calls
2. Booth call services
3. Satelite services
4. Telex services
