Hope everyone is fine. Alhamdulillah I am fine too. First of all I want to thank the community for challenging such a beautiful topic. I am very happy and I feel very happy that I can participate in this challenge today. Today's challenge topic is My Country : My Home. So let's get started.

Tell us about your Home (country), a brief history, will be an added advantage.

I am a citizen of Bangladesh. I have lived in this country since I was a child and I grew up here. Bangladesh is a very important country in South Asia. Our country has India to the east, west and north and the huge Bay of Bengal to the south and Myanmar to the south-east of Bangladesh. According to the data of 2011, there were 16 crore people living in our country, which has increased more and is increasing day by day.

The name Bangladesh did not take place on the earth so easily. Bangladeshi people have a lot to occupy this place. We have been fighting since 1947 when the Pakistanis oppressed us. Bengalis are called warrior caste. We were the first in the history of the world to give our lives for our mother tongue, which is now celebrated every year on February 21 as the International Mother Language Day. And besides, in 1971, our independence was achieved through a long bloody war of 9 months.

Why do you think your country is unique? Share at least 3 points.

Yes of course my country is different from all other countries. Our country is different from other countries in many aspects, but I will discuss only 3 things today.

Natural beauty:

Whenever any natural beauty is mentioned, the scene of natural beauty of my country comes before these eyes. Only our country has 6 seasons in the whole world. Which changes each season with 2 months every 12 months. Many famous tourist places have been created in our country based on natural beauty, such as :- Cox's Bazar, Bandarban, Sundarban, Sajek, Jaflong, Kuakata, currently another big natural tourist place in Bangladesh is Nikli, Etna, Mithamin, Ashtagram Haor in Kishoreganj district which is mainly Monsoon is the best time to visit, also there are many tourist spots in Bangladesh where people from all over the country come to visit.

Various National festival :

Although Bangladesh is a predominantly Islamic country, there are various other ethnic groups including Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, and Muslims who observe their own religions and ceremonies. But now, almost all the ethnic groups of our country celebrate their festivals together . Bangladesh is a festival-loving nation, according to an old saying, 13 festival celebrated in 12 months in Bangladesh. Bengali festivals include major religious festivals such as Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, Durga Puja, Buddhist Purnima, Christmas Day and more. However, Bengalis have another big ceremony in which all religions, castes, young and old celebrate together. And that is Bengali New Year (Pohela Boishakh) . It is a very important event of Bengalis, we Bengalis eat panta rice and hilsa fish on this occasion. These two dishes are our traditional Bengali dishes.

Archeological Artifacts:

After that Aryan race, then the Gupta Empire, then the Paul Empire , then the Sen Dynasty, then the Mughal Empire, and many other nations lived in this land. So if you dig the soil of Bengal, the old history of Bengal comes out. So far, various prehistoric architectures have been found in different places in our country. Wari Bateswar has recently been discovered in Narsingdi district which carries the history back to about four thousand years.

Would you leave your country to settle in another if an opportunity shows up? Back up your answer with reasons.

The answer may vary depending on time and location. There are many young talents of our country who are moving abroad for a better life and they are making great progress there. As they leave the country, many valuable resources from our country are moving out of the country. And I think that this side of our country is being damaged.

But if the question was put to me I would say no without hesitation. I love my country very much. I want to live in this country with my family. In our Islamic religion love of country is part of Iman.

What areas of your home (country) would you love to see an improvement?

Our country has been progressing little by little since independence. But I don't think the rate at which my country is progressing is enough. Because we still have to face many problems in our country. But now I will discuss only one of our topics, that is planned urbanization.

I think one of the major problems in our country is the lack of planned urbanization. So I want the implementation of planned urbanization in our country to improve. Because a planned urbanization is very important for the development of a country or a state. Because if a country does not have a planned urbanization then the people there have to face many problems like more traffic jams, waterlogging, garbage dumping etc. So I want to see improvement in the urbanization system of my country.
