What do you understand by the word hospitality?

Hospitality should be a daily activities one should extend. Offering hospitality brings its own share of challenges but it shouldn't discourage you from doing good just as you have been doing because the benefits outweighs the risk.

There's a popular saying, change begins with you. It also relates to hospitality. When we open our homes and hearts to others, we create a circle of paying it forward while we create an environment with the people around us a place filled with warmth and understanding, we get to build connections that can make each persona better place.
Hospitality goes beyond offering someone a meal or a place to stay. It's about creating a place of comfort, a sense of belonging and support. A place where we can be certain that everything is alright. Establishing a place where each person who comes across feels valued and appreciated.

In the world where sometimes the "helper" becomes a "victim," should we still show hospitality? What's your take? Explain.

Of course, this is when you should even show your gratitude to the person who has once shown you kindness. When you help someone when they are down, you strengthen their mind to do much more than they've been doing before.

Have you ever received unforgettable hospitality from someone? How was it? And why is it unforgettable?

Definitely. I can't even count how many times people have offer kindness to me without promoting.

One I can't forget till today is during the period I got admitted into the university. Then, I didn't know anyone or had a place to stay. I was almost stranded going from one place to another just for a place to sleep for the day.

Fortunately for me, a mutual friend I didn't even know saw me stranded, asked how I was coping and offer a helping hand. I stayed with her for months without stress. She treated me as her younger sister, and helped me find someone good to stay.

Do you consider yourself a hospitable person? State instances.

Yes, I've received kindness from people and love to pay it forward.

When I see someone in need and I have the means to help, what's stopping me.

From offering refreshments to guest, something simple as water to quench thirst, a listening ear to someone stressed and frustrated, a friendly conversation to help them feel at ease can make all the difference.

I've been hospitable in form of introducing myself to newcomers in my church, at an event, on the bus. Offering directions to someone confused.

When showing hospitality to people, how should it be done? Tell us

Hospitality should be done it because you are expecting anything from someone but because it's part of you. It should be done without announcing it to the world. It should be done because one good turn deserved another. When it is done, you make the world a better place.

Hospitality comes in various forms, and ways we can offer hospitality, both in things we can see and one we can't see. Hospitality can come in form of warmly welcoming friends and families into your homes or place of work.
