What type of insect is it?

Mosquitoes are small insects that can be flown and their weight of it be around 2.5 milligrams. It has long legs, transparent wings, and has a soft body. There are 3500 variants of mosquitoes all over the world. These insects breed in contaminated water, clogged drainage systems, sewage, or pools of dirty water. Due to these insects, many diseases spread like – dengue fever, chikungunya, yellow fever, malaria, and a lot more. The blood of humans and animals is the main source of their feed. At a time of three to four hundred eggs, a female mosquito can be laid. The dangerous thing is within eight to ten days, these eggs have become proper mosquitoes. A male mosquito's lifetime is fifteen days, whereas a female mosquito's life span is forty-five days.

Have you ever seen one?

Yes, I have seen these insects. In our country, this can be seen everywhere because the weather of our country is the proper place for their breeding. It can be found in broken buckets, flower pots, polluted water tanks, and wasted tires. Mosquitoes are mostly seen in the countryside rather than the cities. The forest, green bushes, rice fields, ponds, and also swamps are their dwelling place. Due to these mosquitoes in our country, dengue outbreaks are increasing significantly. Most hospitals were seeing with a full number of dengue patients, and the doctors were struggling so hard to provide proper care to them. Being conscious about the cleanliness of our homes, fortunately, by the grace of the Almighty I and my family members are yet not affected by this disease.

Of what use is it to humans?

Normally, mosquitoes are considered the harmful insects for human beings. Because they spread various diseases, which can dangerously bring people closer to death. Though they are harmful to humans, but they balance the ecosystem. They are being served as food for many animals like fish, frogs, birds, and many more. Many plants in wetlands are mostly benefited from mosquito pollination.

Thank you @chant mam for your kind support.

Mosquitoes are very dangerous, the disease they spread leads to death but they are still part of the food chain.

Yes, you are right, dear, and I hate how they bite us and make us swollen. Thanks for commenting on my post.

Nice drawing,
Mosquitoes are dangerous,as they are transmitters of numerous deadly diseases. One if which is malaria, the most rampant.
However, mosquitoes also have economic importance, which are one way or the other useful to humans.
