Life Around: Daily Activities in Our Neighborhood

Every day, the neighborhood where I live is always filled with various activities that reflect the life of urban society. As someone who lives in the city center near the flyover, I often observe the hustle and bustle of passing vehicles, especially during office hours. Congestion has become part of the routine in this area, but behind it, there are many interesting moments that occur around me.

The morning begins with rows of traders opening their stalls on the sidewalk. Some of them are breakfast sellers such as fried rice, sandwiches, and hot tea which are the main choices for workers rushing to work. I also see vegetable sellers who patiently arrange their wares, while mothers shop for kitchen needs. Sometimes, I chat with them and hear stories about the rise and fall of staple food prices or simple stories from their lives.

When noon arrives, the atmosphere on the streets begins to calm down. Children from the madrasah school around my house go home with cheerful faces, chatting with their friends about their lessons or just joking around. Some of them stop by a small shop to buy snacks. I love seeing them, because they remind me of my school days, when life felt so simple and full of happiness.

In the afternoon, I usually take the time to walk around, especially on the flyover. From there, I often take photos of the city view as the sun begins to set. The twilight sky with its slowly fading orange color always provides its own serenity. Under the bridge, there are several people spending time sitting relaxing or chatting with their friends.

At night, the streets are busy again. Food vendors start selling their wares, from satay, fried rice, to warm drinks like ginger milk. The nightlife around me is never quiet. Sometimes, I sit in a small coffee shop and watch people passing by, each with their own stories and goals.

The environment where I live is full of dynamics and interesting life stories. Although living in a big city can be tiring, there are many little things to enjoy, from interactions with neighbors, city views, to daily life that continues to run at its own rhythm.
I am inviting: @dove11, @lhorgic, and @ruthjoe
