The Background …

Season 20 SEC showed significant growth especially in the number of classes which reached 16 classes, with a variety of topics to choose from, thus allowing more people to participate, let's say there are classes such as: programming (wow, there are 4 programming classes), cooking classes, graphic design, playing with children, health (hematology), spreadsheets, and so on).

Invitation for prospective instructors was announced by @steemitblog in an article dated August 19, 2024, Applications Invited for Season 20.

And on September 4, Steemitblog announced 15 teaching teams that will accompany Crypto Academy, so there are 16 classes every week during the 20th season of SEC.

Ideally, for each week of each SEC season, each lecturer submits 2 articles: a lesson article and a summary article. However, in season 20, SEC has seen some lecturers submit more than two articles. Notes: Observations were made based on the weekly hashtags created for the contest. The following table shows the number of lecturers' articles in each class for each week of SEC season 20.

No idea what #wewrite hit. I leave it to @inspiracion to decide if it is vauable (it was in the way I already mentioned, way too work intensive, it kept me and many others busy 24/7 with no room for something else.

If I have a lazy teacher course where I can announce the winners in the end and can write a lesson plus announcement within 10 minutes I might be back.

🤗🍀♥️

Of course wewrite was very valuable, it taught us a working model for creative writing, in fact I have seen with great joy that it has served as a precedent for the course that is currently in force #microwrite.

So yes, it has been and is a very valuable experience, not only in putting it into practice, but also in reflecting on the way we do things.

For me it is an unforgettable experience, and I know that it was also unforgettable for those who came.

#wewrite has stayed there, and is still there for all of us who want to review and take notes, and continue learning.🙂💗

Thank you for adding your experiences.
It's good to read you call what we were attacked for a "working model".

If it comes to reflecting on how we do things I hope that message remained since it's not only used in (free) writing but all aspects of art and in life itself.

#wewrite as a course stayed, most likely soon not found back but it is a good thing what @freewritehouse once started on Steemit came back alive. The hashtag exists on X and the internet. It would be great if Steemit would be found among them.

I hipe you enjoy the freedom and time and can relax more dear friend.

A great day/weekend to you

🤗♥️🍀

It recorded the highest participation, occured on week 1. When I worked with the data, I said to myself that I might not do the recap for wewrite. Gosh! 155 participations! 🤣 If you remember, when week 2 launched, I commented on your article something like, "You do know how to make yourself and other busy". 😂😂😂 But turned out the following weeks did not make one third of it.

So you did not apply for season 21?

No I did not. I thought you already discovered that.
I applied as a challenger, ended up as a teaching team with an army and next did most alone. (Team or not 1 person has to read everything to be able to vompare, next the judging and instructing and so on. I doubt any other team worked that way.)

As a challenger I would have taught in a different way.

It was a very good lesson though in every way and it made a lot clear and you delivered the proof.

What does make me kind of sad is that #wewrite was always a part of the freewriters and they didn't join. Partly because of some disasters that happened (nature + personal) but also because they are frequently the outlaws of this platform.

Talk about applying for a "Steem-Job", Mohammadfaisal asked me to join his tim with sergeyk for November Community Curators,, but we did not make it. My very first time application for anything on Steem, and the second one of faisal's for CC. Actually I kinda feel relieved since I just got the news that work might seem to take more of my time in the coming week. 🤦‍♂️ Hey have a good sleep.

As you noticed the SC teams do not put too much effort in finding new Steemians.
Europeans are a good example of not being uovoted or searched for. If you work in the same way curating is a piece of cake, so is it if you are not picky, have a good memory or a list with names/links which I always have (so have you).

What takes more time is commenting but as you can see the SCs of October, except for @stef1, do not comment although this was asked by the Steemit Team.

We all worked daily together and upvoting took about one hour, two at most including checking, filling out the sheet and talking how to vote or change the voting behaviour.
After that we stopped till the VP was 100 again.

Because we all 3 were in principal present it gave room to jump in if one or two were not able to vote (it wasn't me) due to ilness, private circumstances, no internet, you name it.

Important is to ask yourself how much time you want to invest. Also what you like to see rewarded. A few good ones with a higher upvote? Many for 1$?

I think the team I was in did a good job. After we voted we were present on Steemit and if you read and comment you can save/check links for the next voting round.

♥️🍀

Thanks for the insight, maybe I will never apply for SC again. 😂😂😂 You know my weakness: commenting. Oh my God. I just want to paste some gifs and laugh... 😂😂😂

In one side I do want to give back to community by serving Steem, but in another side, after reading your comment, I think I am gonna end up putting myself in not a good feeling about myself. 😂😂😂

Do you have anymore insight or suggestions? Related to this issue.

If you join a team and work once every 3 days you can have your list ready and comment a day and spread some joy. Since you already comment there won't be much difference it's just in name of SC so don't forget to leave yours. It would do those who are always forgotten good. I had great chats, happy people but you also have to explain you are just that sc for 1 month and the next one doesn't care about reading them and that is a problem. Commenting is not engagement. It's leaving a message behind.
Engagement starts if the message is answered and we keep talking.

I believe you already give a lot to the platform.
Does the platform give you anything in return? If you still stick to 3 posts per week you already made something clear about how you want to work.

A lot here is long term commitment but a hobby should not break people.

Thank you for the Summary - very useful.

Great, I love these summaries, behind them there is also very detailed data collection work. Thanks for sharing it.🙂

Thanks, inspiracion.

I am designing some improvements for season 21.

A very standard review sir, I feel very ashamed for not seeing my name in any of the statistics of some top participants and so on. I wish to put more effort in this season.

Or maybe I can make the lists longer like 100 lines, and I bet your name would show up. But then the article would be very long it would make you tired scrolling it down, and then you would fall asleep again, another nightmare. 😀😀😀

Don't worry you don't need to make it longer, I will take it as a challenge and make sure that my name appears in top 15 next time.

Yes. I hope to see you there too, amongst the top 20. 😃

🥶 it won't be easy

That what makes it challenging. And fun. By the way, the internet connection has been running smoothly over there?

Yeah is running smoothly but It misbehaves sometimes just like yesterday morning and I had to stand under the sun, I wanted to stand with an umbrella but I didn't remember on time so I just forgot about the umbrella.

Each time I sit at that spot outside, the network will disappear so I had to stand.

That's sad, but funny. I don't know how to best react.
