A. Week 1 : The Background …
The teaching team for season 22 was announced by steemitblog on December 10 through this article. There are 15 classes in the 22nd season of the SLC, two less than the previous season's 17 classes. Some of the classes that existed in the previous season are continuing this season, while some are not and there are some new classes. Broadly speaking, the classes are can be divided into several main categories such as Health, Programming, Culinary, Fashion, and others.
Week 1 of the Season 22 started on December 16th, and was announced by steemitblog via announcement article.
The fifteen classes that filled the first week of season 22 are listed in the following table. Note: The table consists of 5 columns, if you are accessing via mobile phone, you may need to set your browser to desktop mode to see it in full.
B. Week 1 : The Statistics
B.1. General Data
First table shows the number of entries each class and scores recorded by participants. The green and red colors in each column indicate the three highest and three lowest scores in that column's assessment category, respectively.
The 3 most popular classes in the first week of season 22 were 1) Basic Notion of Law (anasuleidy and elider11, 69 entries); 2) Digital Cartography Basics (soywilfredg, 45 entries), and 3) Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (ashkhan, 39 entries). The three classes with the lowest participation were: 1) Introduction to Steem Blockchain and RPC Nodes (alejos7ven, 7 entries); 2) Crochet Starter: Earrings (naka05 & analp, 7 entries) and 3) Sewing (lunasilver, 10 entries).
Table 2 is the rewards table, showing the number of rewards collected by participants and lecturers and the total amount for each class. Tag Reward = Total Participants Reward + Total Lecturers Reward. The red and green fills in each column indicate the the top and bottom three.
The three classes that scored the highest Rewards (STU) that week are the classes run by: 1) anasuleidy & elider11 (579.83 STU); 2) @ashkhan (528.24); and 3) yenny47 & katherine012 (514.09 STU).
Third table brings us the comprehensive information from the above two tables in a simple informative form.
Table 4 shows the statistical comparison of some key aspects with the previous week.
Table 4 shows us an increase of 10 in the number of participating posts (including invalid ones for various reasons), as well as an increase in the number of participants, when compared to the previous week. The reward (in term of STU) collected by participants is also showing an increase while lecturers reward (Classes’ Total STU) is showing a decrease. The decrease in Lecturer's reward is understandable as the number of classes decreased from 17 in the previous season to 15 this season. And the increase in the number of participants despite the decrease in the number of classes can be taken as an indication of increased trust in Steem. This may have been triggered by the reprinting of SBD in early December.
8 charts were made from the data above.
B.2. The “Super Participants”
The following table shows the list of the 8 most active participants (based on the number of their entries) that week who ranked in the top 3. It is shown along with the number of rewards (STU) and the average reward (STU) per article they collected. The amount shown is from contest participation, if there are lecturers on the list, then the numbers do not include the rewards they get from lecturing.
The table below lists 20 Steemians with the highest reward collected this week. Again, the amount shown here is from contest participation, if there are lecturers on the list, then the number does not include the rewards they get as a lecturer.
Congratulations to @walictd, @blessedlife dan zulay7059 as the three person who earned the highest rewards in the first week of SLC season 22.
The next table shows the top 20 participants that recorded the highest STU average per entry.
One shot, and they score high! The top 3 are rafk, @adi-was-here, and yonaikerurso. Congratulations!
B.3. The Lecturers
The table below shows the reward (STU) collected by lecturers in each course, ranked alphabetically.
Below is the table that shows the ranking by the highest to lowest in term of total STU collected by each lectuter, along with the number of entries and the average per entry.
That’s all! And, this was another great week! I hope this is useful. I’ll be back for Week 2.
And, very much thanks for your support, everyone, especially steemcurator01, @steemcurator02, and all another 7 SCs who happens to reach this post. Much Love.
