Sometimes you just need to sit back, chill and enjoy a good meal on a nice Sunday afternoon. So off we went to one of my favorite Japanese restaurants and had a FEAST
First we started with some Sashimi:
We had Salmon, Tuna and Kingfish.
The meat was fresh and refreshing and it was the best way to start a Japanese meal. What a treat!!
And then for the next course we went on to a side of Tempura:
The tempura mix had a mixture of Prawns, Sweet potato, and Eggplant.
Next moving on to the main course we had some Chirashi + Udon noodles:
The Chirashi bowl is one of my favorites Japanese dish - it has all the ingredients that I like and it has such a nice look to it as well.
This is one dish that you could scale up in class with the quality of ingredients used. Here at this restaurant, they certainly use the best and locally available.
And finally to warp up a great meal is a Nigiri plate:
Pardon the dirty table and the tissue (I spilled some soya sauce) but look at that Nigiri, beautiful right?
And there ends a wonderful lunch! And a don't you think good food is key to living a #betterlife ?
Cheers!!
