Paintings, Podcasts & Tests 🧡💁🏻‍♀️ 🎨 (Gouache Painting)

The first test with new gouache set by Brustro is up finally, with this post. I had a total carnival feel while unpacking the gorgeous black box (pictures below) The range of colors is absolutely gorgeous and definitely a big upgrade from the last one. The sizing is also pretty okay although sometimes they all they feel small to me lol. But I am gonna order another one immediately as this seems like it’s gonna finish faster than the previous one.

I am very happy with the quality of the tubes and especially their caps. My previous set of gouache had the shittiest caps ever. Also these look very irresistible because of their packaging :D I kept the color palette quite limited for today so that I wouldn’t be bombarded with too many new colors. And hence chose yellows, greens and some neutral colors.

Felt my vision getting f’ed up somewhere in the middle because everything started to look the same. My eyes couldn’t tell the difference between shades and tints and this one nearly went down the drain lol. I took 5 minutes to look at something else which turned into 15 minutes because I was also watching “Oprah’s 2020 Vision Tour” with Michelle Obama. And I was just having way too much fun and kinda lost sight of what I was actually doing :D

Anyway, it was a good session for the eyes, ears and my mind. I love listening to podcasts and stuff where global upliftment and betterment is discussed. Last night I was also watching one of Adele’s podcast which was just incredibly fun. And yep, I think I am pretty much going to have a wall full of her portrait and paintings inspired by her songs real soon! 😂
