Dear Steemians friends, Dear Community, Dear Readers.
Today I bring you the story of Juan Carlos, a 37-year-old Venezuelan from the Zulia State, with very few resources, who from his birth presented a very severe picture of Hydrocephalus, which not only affected the size and shape of his skull but also the entire bony system of his body, he also suffers from incontinence and has undergone surgery twice to change a valve that is surgically embedded in his skull that drains the fluid that is reproduced in his brain to his urinary vessel and thus it is disposed of through urine.
Here I reflect some symptoms:
- Headache
- Vomiting and nausea
- Blurry vision
- Balance problems
- Problems controlling the bladder
- Problems with thinking and memory. Etc.
Juan Carlos is the fourth son of 6 brothers, for 4 years his parents died of old age, being in charge of his older sister, despite having 5 brothers Juan Carlos lives in a very precarious situation, does not have the care, nor the supplies, much less the food you need on a daily basis for your livelihood. He does not have a wheelchair with which he can move in a better and neater way.
He receives the help of his neighbors only when they can help him, he has practically been abandoned by his brothers and also very poorly treated, in addition to this the health system of his people in the State of Zulia does not have care for these cases and many more.
It is of utmost importance that this sick young man obtain support, general help from the world and from society that allows him to live in a more dignified, appropriate and higher quality way. Seeing how he has been abandoned by his family, by the government entities that have the right to look after his well-being, I have decided to do something else for my friend Juan Carlos. I have always been in charge of providing you with your personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, deodorant, talc, toothpaste, comb and toothbrush) among other food and recreational items.
I am moved to the point of crying, to see how there are people who are healthy and have the resources available to support Juan Carlos and are not even able to help people in need, such as in this case of Juan Carlos, I have spoken with Many businessmen in the area to collaborate with you NOT with money, but with food and articles for their needs and if I tell them their answers, you reader friends would be perplexed. On many occasions I say goodbye to those businessmen, telling them that Juan Carlos is not to blame, nor did he choose to be born that way.
I told a friend of my childhood about running a fundraising campaign through Steemit, since I am new to this social network and he very kindly told me that for every vote that the Juan Carlos Post obtained, I would donate 1 dollar.
We are looking for any kind of own benefit through this Post, on the contrary, I want to inspire you to help in this way or another at least one person in your community, the most needy, someone who according to your point of view needs truly a community collaboration. I assure you that by doing so, you will feel much better about yourself.
Logically, the amount of money generated by the Posts that I will make in various communities of Steemit to help Juan Carlos, will be counted on the 8th from the moment of doing the same and a video will be made that will leave evidence, in full view of all, that the money collected on this website plus the money donated by my friend, will be used to buy him food and all kinds of items that Juan Carlos needs.
I HOPE YOU WILL COLLABORATE WITH YOUR VOTES AND, IF POSSIBLE, SHARE THIS POST.
I wish you all very good health and abundance in your lives without missing a strong and fraternal hug from me!
