Humankind are responsible for the tallest constructions the world has ever seen, the oldest too, with building like the pyramids and other ancient constructions still standing after many hundreds and thousands of years. It makes sense then, to consider that humans know how to lay foundations and how to build upon those solid, immovable platforms.
But what about humans themselves? How well do we build our own personal foundations, the ones that support us throughout life.
Building solid foundations as an individual, personality traits such as manners, respect, courtesy, humility, generosity, work-ethic, honesty and so many more are essentially simply platforms from which life itself can develop and grow. Build them strong and life can springboard forward; Build them not, and one stands on uneven ground, that may not support their best efforts to build upon, and therefore one's efforts to attain one's best life.
We all reside within ourselves, the true self is inside not without, and it is critically important that we build solid foundations.
"It is not the beauty of a building you should look at; it’s the construction of the foundation that will stand the test of time." - David Allan Coe
