Hello friends, i want to share one of the sad incident that I've ever encountered. A while back we heard the news that peoples are missing and some found dead due to the landslide in the sindhupalchowk district, one of the rural and geographically difficult land.

We were stunned by sorrow that one of our dearest brother was missing in that landslide and it was so personal and difficult to handle the situation. We decided to reach to the site and see for ourselves. As travelling was not easy in the pandemic situation we arranged for the vehicle and just left.
After 3 hours of driving we were stopped at this place called "jurre" where the river had tore the section of the road.
This is the place where tragic landslide had happened 6 years ago which took many life.

We couldn't pass the area and had to stay there for a night. This place looked so beautiful but landslide made it so sad as if nature wanted to make sure we see that she is angry.
We woke up the next day and saw that the Nepal Army had made a temporary road around the cut-off section so we moved ahead.
We reached to "bharabise" and talked to the people who actually witnessed the whole moment. They told us the story about our brother, what were they doing and how it happened and how he went missing.
We still had to walk 2 hours to reach the site of the landslide and they warned us that the road is extremely difficult and there are many landslide and had to cross some streams we were frightened but had to reach the place .
We saw that the highway was so badly torn apart that any rescue and relief program was virtually impossible by land. We heard that the 2 dead were found and helicopters had to come to get them.
We saw severe slides and realized how much the area is prone to the natural damaged and top of that unplanned settlement alongside the raging river.
But at the same time the land is so beautiful that you have to wonder that such tragedy's been happened.
We finally reach to the site to see that the whole village has been devastated by the landslide and we listen to the stories of the villagers. How this misfortune happened. We talked to the rescue officers and we came to realize that there isn't the slightest of chance to finding our brother. This really got to us and then the great remorse strikes.
We stood over the spot and said our goodbye and prayed that the rescuers will find him one way or other. Rest in Peace Brother, we will always miss you you will be forever in out hearts, smiling and cheerful as you always were. Life is not fair but we are just puppets in this mysterious world.
