Every day that social distancing measures are delayed causes a 40% increase in ultimate number of cases.
Australia was quick with its China flights ban but has been quite slow thereafter.
Summer heat and few people returning from Europe has saved it so far but the number of deaths (3) and evidence of community spread indicates that true cases are more like 2400 at the moment.
