Where I reside, there are loads of banana trees. It's amazing watching them grow, to seeing them being cut down (Apparently, after bearing fruit, they wouldn't be able to bear another, so they are cut down), but amazingly, from their stumps, new trees grow again!
As an artist, they really really inspire me. This photo was of a new banana tree, I was stunned by how perfectly it curled and unfurled, it was just simply beautiful!
