What Does Hive Mean To Me

I've been watching keenly the drama that has ensured during the last one month and the Glorious outcone5 that came out of it Hive.io

Since its arrival on the scene, I've been so happy at how it has turned out and how the platform has picked out from where Steem left and decided to proceed.

Hive is surely the new thing in the block, and it's pace is faster than those that comes before it. Thanks to the hard work of those solidly behind it, the witness who thought it well to fashion out a true course of Decentralization.

Now, I've got a question by @theycallmedan asking all bloggers here there view on this new born baby called Hive. And am here to answer them all.

First,

What is HIVE to you?

To me, Hive means three things.

1. Freedom
2. Evolution & Revolution
3. Decentralization

I'll start from the first one.

1. Freedom means we are now free from any form of blockchain and cryptocurrency slavery, no one, no single person anymore has the right to dictate to his online fellow how things should be without having a consensus of things.

We are now free to champion our destiny here and decide for ourselves, a large stake holder can no more single handedly dump our loving coin and go. Never again are we going to fear that happening.

.2. Evolution and Revolution - Hive means evolution from where Steem stopped growing, Hive has poised a great chance and stand to do greater than Steem. Hive evolve and it's evolving into something great. Revolution in the sense that, now the mind of all and sundry on the blockchain has seen there is still more coming, a change in the order of things. New interface, new creativity and so on. More beauty is added to Hive. Making us see more and more new things each and every day.

.3. Decentralization - I've explained this fully in a previous contest where @theycallmedan asked what is Decentralization. The true meaning of decentralized community can be found on Hive. A platform where no one has all the single control to affect change, not caring about others. Hive brought an end to that. Decentralization is the colour of Hive.

What do you want to see HIVE evolve into?

I want hive to become the all encompassing home of all content writers. Surpassing the likes of Reddit, Medium and the likes. I believe one day Hive can beat Facebook hands down and go on to be the new Google.

What do you think about having a large funded DAO for future HIVE development?

This will surely go a long way in helping the outward outlook of Hive. Helps to bring it into more homes thereby increasing the users database by the minute. This finds helps to run Hive and keep it up and running all through.
