I just bought Icelandic chickens. They're about 4 weeks old. They provide an excellent source of fertilizer!

    They do, they are also fantastic at pest control. Plus you can also use chickens to prepare the ground for vegetable. Simply move their pen/roost to locations around the garden and as they scratch and poop, they automatically airate and fertilise the top few inches, then simply relocate the coop to another location and start the process again.
