Need Help With This Cabbage
Greetings community,
This is my fifth elf and I am happy with what I created. Well, my day started with a low motivation and feeling uninspired to create anything at first. I thought that I would miss this day but an unexpected inspiration showed up. Read on.

A rough sketch of the character which was inspired by my cousin who came to visit today with his parents. They are going to cook for a birthday celebration.
The sketch looks good and there is no revision needed so I went to finalise the line drawing
This is the actual photo of my cousin as he was striding looking for a knife to be used for slicing the cabbage. I think at that moment that this could be an interesting reference for my drawing so I quickly snapped a photo. I will not show his face because I did not ask for his permission to post this online.
This drawing is more of a caricature so I tried to stick with the colors from the reference photo.
Instead of showing a knife I decided the cabbage is much more suited for the image.
The last details I added are the shadows and highlights.
