You would think that being locked down would give you the chance to find some decent television to keep you entertained, sadly I've found most of it is pretty rubbish. If your IMDB page and Wikipedia summary don't appeal to me, you best believe I'm giving it a miss. @steemityourway recommended I check out this documentary and I decided to humour her since my will to find something decent to watch is at an all-time low.
I do enjoy a good doccie, Aaron Hernandez murders, Making a murderer and the fall of Enron and Theranos are some of the most entertaining stories and far better than some fiction we see today.
I love you now, Now Die may sound like a simple story, but it has so much more depth to it and will bring about several talking points and is one of those polarising stories. Like is the dress gold or blue kind of story people side in two camps but I also think theirs a more in-depth lesson to learn from as the story plays out.

What is I love You now Die about?
Teen Michelle Carter's is a run of the mill white chick doing what young girls do best these days; she texts her life away. However, her texts and obsessions with TV shows as well as mental health issues and dealing with all the awkwardness that comes with puberty lead to actions shocked a nation.
This two-part documentary explores the sensational trial of Michelle, who was charged with manslaughter for sending texts that urged her boyfriend, Conrad Roy, to commit suicide. It sounds like a simple story, but once you get to know both teens troubled past you'll start to find yourself questioning your position on several occasions.

What is I thought of I Love You, Now Die?
The internet has become an integral part of our lives, and I've always said that we don't fully understand what unlimited access to information and people will do to our mental health. Our brains are very much still in the formative stages of understanding the internet, and you can see this by the level of online doxing, stalking, fake news and more. We're still very much amid the growing pains and teething issues of digital interconnectivity.
Now if adults, proffesionals and nations cannot get their shit together, what hope is there for young children who don't have a fully developed brain? The internet is affecting children's minds in a way we will not understand for many years, and this is just an outlying example, but I feel there are subtle cases of this everywhere.
The story centres around two teenagers coming to terms with their adolescents and everything we have to go through as teens—body image issues, loneliness, social acceptance, love, and in this case, mental illness. The two loners gravitate to one another and start to create their echo chamber online despite living an hour apart they hardly meet in person. These kids begin to slip deeper and deeper into the fantasy, and the lines between reality are blurred.
When it comes to online interaction, we often think because theirs a screen between our interactions that everything said and done is a victimless crime. This puts it into perspective, we never know what goes on in the minds of others and even more so when those we speak to are behind a screen.
My rating for I love You, Now Die
A fascinating story but its also sensationalised and dragged on longer than it needs to be and the facts are kept towards the end so they can spin the various narratives to have you swing between positions and who you support.
I think it's worth checking out if only to start a debate with friends and family. I'd give it a 7 texts out of 10
