Night lights

I took this picture on the night of Dipawali which is considered as a festival of lights. All the houses and streets are decorated with colorful lights and rongolis painted on thw floor.
The sky is filled with the bright sparkles of fireworks which dim even the brightest stars. Thee bright and colorful ambience of the night lifts everyone up with joy and everyone just kind of forgets all of their trouble for this one night.
This particular picture is of a window from a small worn out house where we friend go to vent out our repressed frustrations. We spent the day before painting the whole place up and lighting it up in colorful lights. Each of us left a hand print at the end to engrave ourselves in this small but cheerful piece of memory.
