We are there for you, you stay at home for us
Hi all of you in the @gems community, introduce me @dwiazzahra, I am a village midwife, I have worked for 8 years as a midwife, my daily duty is to go straight to the village to the village, to control the health of pregnant women and babies , as well as village communities.
I really like my job, because the midwife is my dream since I was a child, I want to help all the brothers who are less able in labor.
In our field of work, one village, one midwife, is assigned, each midwife responsible for controlling the health of the pregnant woman until she gives birth, so that the mother and baby are healthy.
Distance to the village from the hospital is a problem for us and also the community, transportation facilities are still very minimal for the purpose of the village, and vice versa from the village to the hospital.
So that it is deployed to each village by the central government, the lack of education and knowledge of the village community about health, is also a problem for us in explaining the importance of healthy living behavior.
The situation becomes difficult when the corona virus haunts
Since the outbreak of the corona virus, our task has become more difficult as a village midwife, the community is not allowed to leave the house for the common good, while for every home that has a pregnant or sick mother, we do door-to-door checking, to ensure their health.
Increasingly bad when there are reports, people who are suspected of positive corona
We got news that there was one resident, who had just returned from a foreign country with a suspicious condition, the man did not want to go to the hospital to check his temperature and take blood.
We worked closely with the security to finally come to the house of the person, it was not an easy thing to examine and invite the man to take us to the hospital.
It took patience and a long time for us, in explaining to the man, about the dangers of the corona virus for him, his family and others.
After trying hard, the man finally wanted to be checked for health and we took him to the hospital.
That's a little greeting from me, I hope all of you in this community @gems, @appreciator, @upmewhale and others can support me in this community, thank you.
