As soon as I've looked out the window I knew it was going to be a beautiful day. It smells like summer.
Look who woke up! Bella is ready for new adventures.
European green lizard (Zelembać)
Mr. Lizard is still our neighbour and it doesn't seem like he's going anywhere any time soon. He really loves sunbathing on the rocks around our stone house.
Because winter was mild this year there's a lot more of these beauties than usual.
Little break before lunch...
Enjoying a good book in my backyard is something we practice more these days and it's one of the perks of having all this time for ourselves.
Mountain of Zir
Zir is an interesting morphological appearance located 30 miles or so off the eastern Adriatic coast. As you drive down the motorway toward Dalmatia, a peculiar group of standalone rocks carefully hidden behind the broad Velebit range suddenly appears on your right. Rising from the middle of the flat Lika field and impossible to overlook.

Sheeps are always welcome on my property behind the stone house.
Wild horses are really something else. It's amazing to see them so free.
Boškarin on the left and Buša cattle (or Busha) on the right
Popularly referred to as Boškarin, Istrian cattle is an original Croatian autochthonous breed Source: www.central-istria.com
Mountain of Zir is one of the most beautiful gifts of nature. There you can enjoy amazing mountain bike routes, climbing routes, walking routes and all that with a gorgeous view of the landscape.
I was walking around trying to find the best place for a sunset shot.
Clouds really bring out the beauty of the mountain.
Bella was also trying to find the best place for sunset shot 😊
Colours of nature surprise me every day. Every day is another chance to enjoy their beautiful and endless pallets of pure perfection.
All photos were taken by me @eewa
I used Huawei P30 Pro, GoPro Hero8, Olympus EPL-8
