There is a medical condition called Vertigo which "is the sensation that you, or the environment around you, is moving or spinning." This feeling may be barely noticeable, or it may be so severe that you find it difficult to keep your balance and do everyday tasks."-source.
The symptoms may be "loss of balance, feeling sick and dizziness." It may last for a few seconds or last longer and when it does, it becomes difficult for the individual to walk or stand.
Like Vertigo, the human mind gets attacked with similar condition and throws the individual into a frenzy of trying to stand against a force that invincibly seeks to trip us off our feet.
What you cannot see is strong and wields a force that can throw us off balance because we give it that control even when we cannot see it.
The fear of the unknown is what introduces fear of failure and the things that cripples and kills.
If you cannot see it, you shouldn't allow it control your life. That feeling you have at that moment will not last longer than the attention time you give it.
If you have the feelings that you are falling but cannot see yourself on the floor, never allow the ground around you tell you it is spinning and that you will fall.
Don't be part of those who fall when nothing pushes them and never allow Vertigo to be associated with you.
Physically looking at the medical condition called Vertigo, it should have no hold against you because, it is the voice of emptiness below that tempts and lures you to defend ourselves against a fall that may never happen.
The greatest win in life is not in never falling but rising each and every time you fall.
Pick yourself up whenever you fall and you will have more reasons to advance upward anytime you slip down a step.
