To end this week I wanted to share with you the step by step of my creative process of a watercolor illustration.
To paint with watercolor we must have a lot of practice and take into account that the finish should not be saturated or dark, since the idea of ​​this technique is to show the color of the background, this means that the layers of paint should not be saturated, if you want something saturated you should use techniques with oil, acrylic, cold paint, etc ...

We should always go from light to dark colors and respect the white of the paper.

It is very important to have a paper that resists water, craft paper is excellent for this technique, the important thing is to be able to test with the paper you have and see how watercolor works. This way you can determine the amount of water that the paper can absorb.

As everything is practical, the most important thing is to paint, paint and paint, also take advantage of social networks to see references of things you like and videos of how to do them, so you get knowledge and more practice will eventually have the result you want .
