😫 AN ILLUSTRATION NOT PAID 😫
Well, this more than to tell you how I illustrate, what I do, what are my tips or something like that, it is to tell you about my experience with this digital work, which was the worst.
And well, I also tell you this so that you do not go through the same and know how to deal with these types of clients.
The gossip was like this, a person on instagram told me to make an illustration of himself.
So I started to sketch it. The client asked me for a photo of the process from time to time, but with such intensity that I had to show him something to keep him still.
He told me that I should change this and that, and I did not like that, because the corrections are made at the end. I just nodded and told him that in the process he changed.

| It turns out that I finished the job and I passed the image to him with watermarks and in low resolution, he told me that he did not look anything like it, that his nose was missing, that his eyebrows were thicker, that this and that and I already I was starting to get stressed. | I made the adjustments and changed the background that he asked for and it came out so that the background did not convince him, that he lacked more in his mouth, that I added this to him and that he stopped and finally, that's where my stress began. |
In total, I made almost 5 corrections, each with different funds and for anyone, they would have liked some of the versions I showed them, but this toxic client did not like any.
ILLUSTRATION COMPLETED!
DURATION: thousand hours with so many corrections.
PROGRAM: Adobe Illustrator.
The truth was, the client was not satisfied and said that "I still don't like it", and I didn't pay any more attention to it, I blocked it and forgot about that toxic client.

Bueno, esto más que para decirles como ilustro, qué hago, cuáles son mis tips o algo así, es para contarles mi experiencia con este trabajo digital, que fue de lo peor.
Y bueno, también les cuento esto para que no pasen por lo mismo y sepan cómo tratar con este tipo de clientes.
El chisme fue así, una persona en instagram me dijo que le hiciera una ilustración de sí mismo.
Entonces yo comencé a bocetearlo. El cliente cada rato me pedía foto del proceso, pero con tal intensidad que debía mostrarle algo para que se quedara quieto.
Me decía que debía cambiarle esto y aquello, y eso no me gustaba, porque las correciones se hacen al final. Yo simplemente asentía y le decía que en el proceso se cambiaba.
EL PROCESO:

| Resulta que terminé el trabajo y le pasé la imagen con marcas de agua y en baja resolución, me dijo que no se parecía en nada, que la nariz le faltaba, que las cejas eras más gruesas, que esto y lo otro y yo ya me empezaba a estresar. | Le hice los ajustes y le cambié el fondo que me pidió y me salió conque el fondo no le convencía, que le faltaba más en la boca, que le agregara esto y le quietara aquello y en fin, ahí empezó mi estrés. |
En total, le hice casi 5 correciones, cada una con fondos diferentes y para cualquier persona, les hubiese gustado algunas de las versiones que les mostré, pero a este cliente tóxico no le gustó ninguna.
¡ILUSTRACIÓN TERMINADA!
DURACIÓN: mil horas con tantas correciones.
PROGRAMA: Adobe Illustrator.
Lo cierto fue, que el cliente no estuvo satisfecho y dijo que: "aún no me gusta", y no le presté más atención, lo bloqueé y me olvidé de ese cliente tóxico.

Hola @gatolector... ¡Qué persona!, espero que no sea ofensivo de ninguna forma porque de hecho considero que es bastante importante lo siguiente, en la ilustración se le ve lo "tóxico" a quien te pidió esto, siento que supiste capturar su personalidad.
Yo tengo poco tiempo de haber empezado formalmente a trabajar con mi arte y casualmente por eso me metí en tu publicación, porque sé que es algo que me podría pasar aunque creo que con ese consejo que muchos creativos dan sobre pedir 50% por adelantado, se disminuye la posibilidad de que la persona se pierda y de paso habiendote hecho gastar un montón de tiempo, por no mencionar el estrés.
En fin, que gente desconsiderada nunca falta pero en definitiva el trabajo, esta bellísimo, en todas las versiones que mostraste. ¡Ánimo! 🙌

Pues fijándome bien en el resultado final sí hay algo que emane lo tóxico de él como cliente jaja, es el cliente más terrible que he tenido y me frustó muchísimo. De verdad que hay que aprender a tener paciencia con los que trabajamos las ilustraciones o logos o flyers, a veces nos encontramos con unas joyas de clientes que bueno... nada que desear jajaja
